You know singletary is watching this game and thinking to himself:
"power football and defense are still effective."

Really dumb question by the sideline reporter about the shovel pass.
Mack brown was right: it was just a fluke turnover

Bama is built to run and stop the run, UT doesn't try to run and stops the run better than anyone. Bama has not faced a passing offense this good, Cody is more a guy who you just can't move, but he's no pass rusher, his effect is over played. No one seems to be talking about the QB experience factor, McCoy has played in and won 3 bowl games, McElroy has not and the last time the rest of the team played a bowl they got smoked. Much like the Saints when they blew out NE, I think Bama put so much in to beating FLA they will have a let down the next game and be a little overconfident. Also been little mention that both Muschamp and Applewhite previously coached under Saban and should know him better than most. Anyway
Texas 27-17
That Texas run def stat was overblown nobody runs in the Big 12, and thats why they had that stat. Proven tonight by BAMA putting up 148 yds in 1 half.

sorry to feel this coming from you. but regardless Colt McCoy will play in the 2nd half regardless if that means they'll have to carry him on the stretcher.

Yeah what a biznatch she was like 'WHY call such a DUMB play?' when it would have been a big gain if the guy didn't juggle it about 3 times.

I'm pretty sure she was forced by her producers to ask that question, you could tell she was very uncomfortable in asking it.

Now, I'm just gonna say this, IF, Colt McCoy happens to come back in the 2nd half, rallies this Texas team, and they end up coming back and winning...
I will be stunned...because I will not know whether to think rigged (Colt with this fluke injury off a hit that honestly didn't look that bad, then comes back and team just starts kicking Bama's ass) or most amazing individual effort in college football ever (to come back after getting hurt and lead your team against the nation's #1 fball team in the championship game)
So for the sake of a very confused me, I think its best that Bama just wraps things up in the 2nd half and takes care of business so I don't even have to watch the 4th and can see whats going on else where...
