Yup, no surprise. When you walk around with a million dollars worth of jewelry on in one of your 10-15 overpriced cars, s**t adds up. When your contract numbers are advertised in the paper, I don't understand the need to show people how much money you have with these lifestyles. For each one of these cars and rims, they could put a family member through college and build real long term wealth.

Good point.

Oh, and for lazy non-readers.
Quote:

• By the time they have been retired for two years, 78% of former NFL players have gone bankrupt or are under financial stress because of joblessness or divorce.

• Within five years of retirement, an estimated 60% of former NBA players are broke.

Lamar Odom just paid like 900 million dollars just so the fat Kardashian would let him marry her. I would be surprised if he doesn't end up in the 60%.

Wait, what? Explain that one, or are you just trying to be funny?
