There's a thread on the Laker site that I visit that keeps track of this. If he averaged 25ppg for the next 542 games (a little more than 6 1/2 seasons @ 82 games per season), he'll get the #1 spot.

It's a definite possibility, although LeBron will probably end up at #1 if he stays healthy and develops his skill set a bit more to adjust for when he physically slows down a bit.

if you go by his 25.5 career avg it comes out to a little over 5 years

Yeah, it's really a matter of how long he wants to play. He was talking about playing until he's 40 this past summer.

I think something like...

29.5ppg (age 31...this year)
28.0ppg (age 32)
27.0ppg (age 33)
25.5ppg (age 34)
23.5ppg (age 35)
21.0ppg (age 36)

...is very possible if he stays healthy.

He's like Lamar. Every few games, he actually tries and reminds you what a f**kin' waste of talent he is.

I'm so disappointed in Bynum. He was such a beast on the boards and even moreso...did a great job of challenging shots until his knee injury last year. Now, he's like Al Jefferson. Hollow numbers.

Baron's on and hes talkin mad s**t...why is no one doing anything about this...can we move Ron or Kobe onto him? And can someone besides Kobe score for us? Please?

Kobe has Gordon on lockdown in this game. I'm sure he'd get hot once Fisher was guarding him.

Our PG spot needs to be addressed. We're playing with fire going into the playoffs with the rotation we have.

Definitely, but whats there to do? Our best trade bait is what? Luke, Farmar and draft picks? There isn't even a PG in the NBA that I would IMAGINE would be available for sale that would be a good fit for us and could be had with what we have available to trade...

We're in a sticky position with that PG spot Pete...we just gotta hope Derek, Jordan, and Shannon man up and get their s**t together...

That being said, Buss is already paying a ton for this team. I hope he's willing to pay a little more. I want Hinrich.

Anyway....Kobe's energy has totally brought us back into the game...as well as switching Artest onto Baron! Good call!

We put an actual NBA athlete on Baron, and then we go on a 10-0 run. Shocking.

Artest needs to stop attacking the basket in traffic. Awful.

Hinrich? lol, I've seen like 9 or 10 Bulls games this season and dudes in a funk if you ask me, he just has been making very very bad/odd decisions, especially in the 4th quarter, very unlike him (at least unlike the Hinrich I knew prior to this NBA season)...I understand why you'd want him, he can shoot the triple, solid defender, white (you cant hide you white supremacist you ), used to be a smart player lol, seems like he could fit the triangle rather well...

But theres gotta be someone else out there lol...anybody...my minds goin blank but I bet if I sat down and looked around the NBA, there'd be other (aka better) options out there for us
