Official 2009-2010 WORLD CHAMPION LA Lakers Thread

It's funny reading the last two responses, because I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Lakers lost by 10+ tonight.

Why?
Do you think Ron Ron will try to make a point and shoot from any and everywhere?
Or Do you think Bynum will forget there is a 6'6 Center guarding him?
Or Does Aaron Brooks drop 45/15 on Fisher?
Or Does Chase Budinger Come in and Drop a 25 Spot in 18 Minutes going 7-7 From 3 Pt Land?
Maybe Ariza Drops 82 on Artest while going 30/42 From the Floor Including 8-8 From 3 Pt Land.

I think that there's a good chance that Houston plays 157 times harder than the Lakers do tonight.

We're all just as shocked as you are.
Machine has always been a ladies man.

Seriously though..chicks love the guy. I don't get it.
am I getting cocky? Last night I just tuned in for the last 29 seconds of regulation.

So, I wished for overtime What can I say, I wanted to watch 5 more minutes and losing never crossed my mind

If Kobe scores 27 more points than AI does tonight, he'll pass him on the all-time scoring list. I wonder if AI pulls a Sprewell on Lionel Hollins tonight if that happens while he is on the bench.

Pete mentioned this sometime during the offseason, now we have some video proof of it.
The line up is stretched so thin that Mbenga is getting extended minutes and Morrison has been on the floor.

KBE
Kobe absolutely destroyed OJ Mayo tonight. Total annihilation.

Kobe's entered the third stage of his career. The first was the young, athletic kid who could jump out of the building, the second was the dynamic scorer from the perimeter with great balance, footwork, and quickness, and this is the older, post-up player. He's been a good post up player for a while now, but he's reached an entirely new plain this year. And we're putting him in the post a lot more. I hope that continues, even when Gasol/Bynum come back. He's hitting completely undefendable shots.
