What other team's make the playoffs year in and year out? Yanks missed 1 year and still had a better record than 90% of the league. They also faced a lot of injuries. They finished spring training with the best record. They will finish the season with 110+ wins.

The simple fact that they spend as much as they do and do not win it all every single year is why they FAIL. They are baseballs version of the cowboys/redskins. Spend like crazy, make every move you possibly can to bring in as much talent as possible, and completely throw "building a proper team" out of the window.

What's so funny about 110 wins? It's the Yankees.

Not a Stros fan. But ST means nothing. Didn't the Royals have the best record last year?

110 wins is alot. They play Boston and TB 18 times each. They play the NYM 6 times along with Philly 6 times. They have a tough schedule, and no ARod for another 4-6 weeks. Vegas has them at 95.5 right now.
