But by all means, tell yourself whatever makes you feel better. If you're lucky, you might get to see one of your young studs win a title or 2. Only if they jump to the lakers, that is.

I guess you forgot about the dry spell before Shaq and Kobe.

Hence my point.

And BTW, consider that a job well done, Pete.

I'm not reading you. Is your point that one of the Blazers is going to be wearing the purple and puke yellow? If so, I doubt Kevin P. would allow that to happen.

My point being that the Lakers attracted the Superstar talent that they needed. Shaq chose to come to LA, and Kobe basically said he wasn't going to play for the Hornets and after he worked out with the Lakers he wanted to be there. Jerry West made the move to trade our starting center for the soon to be superstar.

[/end point]

Aahhhh... I follow you. You wanted to neglect the dry spell I was speaking of.

Sounds like you're talking about that ugly stretch where we missed the playoffs 1 out of 5 years. Those were tough times.

Us Laker fans have suffered long enough, which is the championship will be especially sweet.
Brian Fuentes aint no K-Rod.
And Vlad is overweight!

i guess we halos fans shouldn't be too upset, lets not forget that we are missing lackey, santana, and escobar and they should all return in a few weeks

your starting pitching wasn't the problem.

The Blazers have the longest playoff streak in NBA history. It isn't about making the playoffs, it is about winning the championship. And while we have less trophies, I feel that the Blazers current trio is going to turn that around for us.

And are you implying that you're going to win the championship this year? If so, keep dreaming.
