Yeah, for now Kyle will have to solve the run defense with offensive ball control. Like how they did it against the Rams. Play keep away, hog the ball, and don't let the other team have good field position where they can just tee off the run on your defense. That defensive line without Kinlaw is severely undersized right now.

Yeah they're undersized on the Interior DL, besides Jones, no one else is a big guy, Street, & Givens aren't, Hurst is still out, I just hope the EDGE guys can keep playing well, AA has on the IDL, Bosa, Ebukam, Key, Willis all played well, I have to see Omenihu in there, hope we found a gem with only giving up a 2023 6th.

Omenihu gives us some stability since he is under contract thru 2022.

NC has a good point about being able to get one of the space eaters here if needed. They shouldn't cost to much being a good tree stump in the middle of the Line. Kocurek might have to change the scheme a bit too.

Totally agreed. Your original concern is coming to fruition, unfortunately. Although it shouldn't be too hard to go get some heavies in here. Space eaters. True run defenders.

AB has a good point about the DLine being undersized but they were still kind of holding up. Hope they continue to do well despite being undersized. Currently the 49er run defense is 23rd in the league. That pretty much tells the Jags what their offense has to do to our defense.

Agreed all the way around!
Use the remaining cap room to sign Marshawn Lynch just to trigger Seahawks fans leading up to 49ers at Hawks SNF

Yeah, even though guys like Street, & Givens aren't those 300lb+ guys, they still did a really good job collapsing the pocket against the Rams, but we do need to invest in some big IDL in the offseason, it's too bad Kerr didn't work out.

Talking Interior DL, Darrion Daniels went on PS-IR, was hoping to see him this season, he has to spend 3 weeks on that list.

It was a **Wierd** injury. PasoDoc really did a good job putting the indian burial ground underneath levi Stadium!

Damn you Doc,

Lol.
Hey AB, in your analysis for next year, you wouldn't sign Brendal? He's not a youngster but I think he looked okay for a depth guy at center.

I missed him, I'd sign him to a 1yr veteran minimum deal worth $1.035M, but only counts $895K against the cap, will update my 2022 offseason plan.

This is what I've had projected ever since the NFL, NFLPA agreed upon the $208.2M ceiling, it all depended on all games being played, no cancelations, full or near full stadiums, which has happened, so it should be that $208.2M, if the season had issues anywhere close to 2020 it'd likely wouldn't go up much.

2023 wise, I wonder how much it'll go up, I wonder if 2023 could be the year it explodes to around $260M, which would mean the cap should rise by $20M a yr once the new TV deals kick in for 2023, so 2024 would be $280M, which I have for 2025.

Football seems to be spreading around the world. I hear rumors of a Canadian and English NFL football teams being considered. If so, i would think the cap may be even more than whats projected.

AB what does this mean for us with or without JG's contract on the books?

Will we be in ok, good, or great shape cap wise next season? How will we look compared to other teams?
