That's a very good one for next year. Trent stays-finishes out his contract. Kittle too-he has no guaranteed money in '28 and he stays cheaper afterwards-renegotiate. McCaffrey-same. No replacements for any of them on the horizon for the 1st two. McCaffrey stays after '27 with a lower salary. He's be to versatile to let get away. Brendel one year while the replacement is groomed. Evans-we'll see. Juice-one more year.
Notice all these guys are on offense. Stribling and Black will hopefully step up. No big money FA unless it's Quenton Nelson and Colby confirms why he was a 7th rounder. The potential Kittle replacement can be drafted as high as the 2nd/3rd round-half the snaps the 1st year while Tonges/Farrell finish out their contracts.
Defense. Start with Bosa's contract. Keep him next(one) year if he shows up for the playoffs. Our first draft pick should go for the game changing pass rusher drafted in the first half of the first round. It might mean trading our 1st/2nd + a couple of young ASCENDING players. That's where it gets interesting. You wanna pay Puni, Renardo Green, and big hitter Mustapha the big money they'd be eligible for in the spring or offer them up to owners willing to give up the bag? If the youngun's on the roster improve and the super bowl win is in the rear view, the niners will have the capital to take those chances and those 4th year players will be happy go take the money.
What's left? If Mustafa gets traded we go for Bates. We get Nelson and Colby gets benched. These guys are vets who keep the young players grounded while appreciating a winning team opportunity. This years young developing players are like watching kids grow. They only need nurturing and we can be confident in Raheem.
It all starts with a super bowl victory. It's too soon-agreed.
