Draymond Greenlaw will be suspended two games. Roger Goodell thinks we are winning too much

If they give him more than 1 game it's absolutely ridiculous. He was thrown out for more than a half of a game and while what he did was incredibly stupid he was surrounded by the whole Seattle team on that sideline and goaded into it.
I believe the new rule by the NFLPA is that players past history of offenses don't carry over into that season so Dre's past stuff SHOULDN'T be held against him for this offense.
But no question about it Dre has to be smarter. I love the fire he plays with but we need him on the field.

You have to know they'll wanna teach him a lesson.
I'm pretty sure I read that this year the league cannot hold players past history of offenses against them. They all start with a clean slate.
Tho I'm not 100% on that.
Crap...I may be wrong. I looked into it and the clean slate thing may be related only to hits on the field, hip drop tackles and stuff like that. Not sure if a head butt on the sidelines is a clean slate situation.
Need Dre for the Falcons game with Bijan being a monster. But we all know how much love we get from Roger Goodell and his goons.

God with this paranoia again.
"I know, let's sabotage one of the glamour teams in the league, with armies of supporters all over the world when we're trying to export the game abroad, who just had half of Australia fall in love with... because reasons".
Goodell would not have got so rich if he went about hobbling one of the main sellers for the league he's been hired to expand.
Greenlaw will get a couple of games at least because he's an easy case to make an example of. As I think Cohn wrote correctly, he's basically the NFL's Draymond Green. But it's got nothing to do with Goodell supposedly hating on the 49ers.

There shouldn't be any suspension. He'll certainly be fined but the head butt wasn't that severe. If he had followed up and attacked the guy then I could see it but guys do that type of thing all the time. If the player had a helmet it wouldn't have looked newly as bad.

I agree 💯
I would be surprised if it's anything more than a fine tbh.
It's not like he was overly aggressive with the headbutt.

Roger will wanna make a statement as he likes to do, three games is still my guess. They will wanna make Dre an example, not because of the tin foil theory that he hates us, because Dre, in reality, brought it upon himself. I don't think he should miss more than one game but his history is going to be a problem. Hopefully, he will learn to control his emotions more.

No way he gets suspended for 3 games. The NFLPA would step in if they did that.

Well, I mean, any more aggressive than that, and he'd probably been suspended the rest of the season man.

It was just annonced he's suspended for 1 game. I imagine he'll contest it but it's only one game. Take next week off against the Commanders.

Yeah, it's only one game. I believed he would be suspended and was hopeful it wouldn't be more. Dre gets 2 bye weeks this year. lol his body probably needs it

Great news, in a sense, that it wasn't more than one game. I'd like to see Dugger play in his place to see how he does. But that's just me.

I think even one game is too many. These guys are all hyped up during games and that was a fairly mild head bump. The original flag was for the late hit. When he got on the sideline the Seahwaks players started jawing at him. I have no idea what they said but I can imagine. He responded withthat headbutt when they got in his face. Yes it was wrong but was it really that serious? These aren't 10 year old kids playing flag football.

It's not paranoia when it's been consistently shown but sure...
