Joe I think Black could be a factor in the Niners backfield this year. He has that Emmit Smith build real low to the earth, with nice balance and agility. I think you're in for a treat. As for injuries I think the Seahawks have 4 dudes on IR including starting fullback Ouzts and a bunch of other injuries. Happens every year to the Hawks. Emmanwori missed week one with the ankle issue. I'm not saying that's why they lost week one but it cropped up before the game. Glad he had surgery in the off-season and had it taken care of. Preseason is all about rookies and the practice squad tho so I try to temper my expectations about preseason scores

get used to seeing older ass rookies in the NFL. college players can make more in NIL than in the NFL. way more incentive to stay at the level for longer now.

People here will be uncomfortable if Lance comes out and is as dominant tonight as he was during the joint practice.

And honestly, drafting an RB in his athletic prime and low tread isn't the worst thing in the world. Smokey is just using the age/contract thing because it will be the only gripe remaining if Black carries over his camp performance to games.

Black better be awesome right out of the gate. Reports are all positive, so we'll see.

Maybe missing players hurt you guys week 1, but as it was I thought you lost because our defense held your offense in check and Tariq Woolen has the ball skills of a toddler. I thought the Hawks would win that game so it was nice to think you all were in pain, lol… at least short term.
