Another training camp is barely off the ground and we already have quite a number of injuries. This thing just doesn't seem to go away. This issue has been crippling this team for many years. I know Lynch and Company did their due diligence, but there's more than meets the eye. Most of the existing safety standard legislation is simply outdated and is not to take into other considerations such as those in Europe do. I am very aware of the effects of electromagnetic frequency radiation as I am a very sensitive to the health effects of EMF radiation. I t is my experience and have observed my reponse to these fields over man years that show that myself and others that I know are affected at levels far below the current U.S. health safety standard levels. It has been my ongoing intuitive sense that this is a significant factor in the statistically unexplainable level of ongoing injuries for the Niners season after season. A number of players have voiced their concerned. These are highly conditioned athletes who are deeply in touch with their bodies and how they are feeling and performing. Some have an intutive knowing that the power station is an issue. Kyle Juszczyk commented that if there is even a small effect on their bodies it should be mitigated as they do everything they can to take care of their bodies. I believe that what is different now is that we are in a very intensified EMF field due due to all the cell towers and other microwave towers from corporations, as well as Wi-Fi and cell phones. Then place your practice field right next to an electrical substation, which generates a lot of extremely low-frequency radiation, radiation, and it's likely you have a very toxic combination. If there is even the slightest that this is the case, they should move the practice field. There are also very successful ways to mitigate EMF.. The substation is in the back of every players mind while running routes so,....now, you HAVE to move it .
It's like leaving your coffee cup on the edge of a desk and leaving it there . That darn cup falling is on the back of everyones mind.Not your schedule. Not your emails. Not your meetings. That dumb cup.

It's already been reported that the 49ers are lookinhg for a place to build a new practice facility because they know the their's is below current standards. The current one opened in 1988 with some upgrades since then but 38 years is a long time. Things have changed a lot since then. It was state of the art back then but now it's just not good enough. Finding a good spot close b won't be easy. They may need to look to the south near Morgan Hill.

I'm sure if they're thinking about it someone is searching for a possible site. It can't happen overnight. Finding a good spot to build in the Bay Area is tough. They have to consider property prices, location, building space and local building ordinances which are often a real pain in some Californa cities.

I'm sure if they're thinking about it someone is searching for a possible site. It can't happen overnight. Finding a good spot to build in the Bay Area is tough. They have to consider property prices, location, building space and local building ordinances which are often a real pain in some Californa cities.

All the work and cost to do that, to only spend about two months time in it is probably not worth it.

But since the city center across the street hasn't been started yet, they could try to use some of that space and make it incorporated into the city center somehow?

I don't know if that's feaseable but you can be sure that when they build a new one it will be state of the art. The current one was when they built it and so was the new stadium. They aren't going to spend money on a facility that's not significant upgrade. Stadiums and training facilities are like player salaries. Every new one has to be bigger and better than the current best one.

This video is from a public hearing on EMF satety related to a data center, but it relates to the risk from powerlines and electrical substations. About 1 minute in the presenter, who is a credentialed EMF safety expert, explains that current US standards for exposure are far higher than actual safe levels. She went to Levi's stadium and took readings at the practice field with an EMF measuring device and found that levels are far above safety standards, She recorded the entire visit and the results. She then goes on to cite current research which shows how and why current EMF safety standards are antiquated and inaccurate...

It's too much of a thing to ignore now, even if there is no direct effect that belief that there is is enough to move. Imagine a couple of the players die from cancer in a few years, could be some lawsuits and horrendous press for both. Get it moved, sooner the better.

This is likely not true, unless there is a house full of people on cell phones with multiple routers and smart appliances. Read the post I did earlier on how much the power was increased at the substation in 2013 in prep for supplying Levi's stadium and the surrounding businesses. Prior to the upgrade in the substation the Niners were among the most healthy teams i the league. From 2014 they became one of the most injured a trend that continues to this day. What changed...The substation massive upgrade. I also made a post on this earlier.
