men, I've said it before and I'll say it again... the INJURIES all Shanny's... he a jinx when it comes to having healthy players... he a jinx..

I think it's the medical staff not Kyle. Kyle isn't a doctor. The medical staff in San Francisco is wild however. We even have a lot of players injured but our medical staff is the best in the league. Nick Emmanwori had Surgery last Spring and just passed his physical and is off the PUP list and ready to rock but he had a bunch of time to recover from the ankle surgery. Our starting fullback is already on IR but you gotta wonder who manages the Niner's medical staff. I know Kyle's college buddy is the training and fitness guy but I'm not sure how qualified he is tbh

I agree Rockchalk....it is partially the medical and fitness staff, that's part of it. But the other part is that we have a few too many older talented vets, especially on offense, and they are more prone to break down with injury over the season. If we want to hang with your Hawks and with the improved Rams, we absolutely must get some younger talented players. So far I like the 2026 draft but I need to see some of those rookies on the field in live action first.

Can't wait for the season to start....hoping we can get a W on the Rams in week one.

The Saints lost their starting guard for the season with a knee injury. The Commanders lost tackle Laremy Tunsil with a torn triceps. He may be out for the year. The Niners aren't the only team with injuries.

You named two teams losing a single player.

The 49ers routinely have a roster riddled with both short-, intermediate- and long-term/seadon-ending injuries and are vastly over the median for NFL teams over the past several several seasons.

There is more than "this is the NFL, it's just injuries or bad luck". There is a deeper seated root cause here and if there wasn't, it wouldn't be a constant source of both local and national talk.
With the 49ers, it is better to just hear who is NOT Injured.

Kyle is such a damn great coach that he'll have the 49ers in position to win every game. They whooped Philly's ass in the playoffs and hammered the Seahawks and Rams in the regular season so I'm not gonna sit here and act like the Niners are way behind. There's easily 3 playoff teams coming out of the division and it won't be the Cards. Sure they have some good young players but their culture is riddled with failure and losing and their coaching staff is nowhere near Kyle, McVay or Macdonald

You may not be winning my heart, but maybe (BIG if) warming up to my sack
So we now have 2 ex-Raider running backs on the roster from the time of Vegas Raiders completely sucking, alrighty then

Whislt i loved your optimism i will say the wins against the Rams / Seahawks / Eagles were knife edge games certainley not whoopings. And Rams destroyed us at Levi's and likewise the two losses against the Seahawks were proper beatings.

Time to replace this guy. Enough is enough. The cousin of Matt LaFleur's wife. Nepo-hire who has failed upwards. https://www.49ers.com/team/front-office-roster/dustin-perry

Half the league is nepo hires. I don't think we can use that against him. The fact that we've been one of the most injured teams almost every year since 2014 is probably enough of a reason to clean house in the S&C departments.
When is the last time 2 players from the same team were carted off the field in the same game? I mean, I don't have any words left

Geeze Louise.

Hope the injuries aren't to serious for both Tonges and Stribling. Let's see what potential gems we have in their backups!
