IF the timing works in favor - a lot of guys coming back for the final run of the season.

Ideally we would want a healthy squad a month or so before the playoffs for some chemistry but youre right i think thats when everyone should be healthy.

Would realy love love the first round bye
Can you imagine this offense with a healthy Ricky Pearsal?

I think one of the biggest bummers is all the reps Stribling is missing. I think if he had been playing these games, by week 5-9 we would be seeing a big breakout in his game.

With Halton and Valdez showing up these last few games, I suspect Thompson will be eased into more reps and not look so great compared to those 2 guys.
Not much from Tuesday press conference - was hoping to hear something on Hobbs.

There's good news here. None of the injured's are big money other than Bosa. When you look at the bad contracts handed out in the Shanalynch period you really don'y want to take chances. I'd stick with of a combination of the draft, one year prove it deals and young vets who have not lived up to their draft status. Check this out:
https://ninerswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/niners/2026/06/27/ranking-the-worst-contracts-in-49ers-history-in-lynch-shanahan-era/90696860007/

Hindsight-injuries made 7 of the 10 contracts questionable. What's also interesting is Garoppolo-where is he on the list? So tell me. Where will Mustapha, Green, and Puni rate as extension candidates before they're in position to cash out big in '28? Puni will get more than the 4yr/$77 million Banks got from the Packers-probably a lot more. Mustapha/Green only need to stay off the injury list. I say stock up the late draft picks for those in season trades.

i hope we can get the Atlanta health/training staff

Seriously what is the breaking point before they finally do a reset on the entire medical & training staff? Spending $9 million(?) And adding more staff members in the offseason didn't do anything. The issue is clearly systematic at this point.
