Team's biggest flaw 🤔

I think it's been clearly the roster building. Both Lynch and Kyle are at fault. Too many misses when it comes to Free Agency signing and Draft picks. Kyle's able to coach us into contention but if we had more talent it would be a beautiful thing.

Roster Management. You see so many glaring Holes every where and you still go with a 1st Rd WR and Another 3rd RB??

Yet Lynch and Shanny decided to not address the Interior O-Line and Edge Pass rush during the first rounds of the draft.

If not mistaken Trent will turn 38 in season and he is the stronghold on that line. and on Edge rush both Bosa and Mykel are coming back of Major Injuries.

But Nope here we going to play CmC 92 snaps a game while the 3rd rounder they drafted 2 years ago wont even make the team and last years 4th rounder.....

And Ricky if he can stay on the Field can be a Huge Factor. Thing is he cant though meanwhile this years 1st Rd will prolly end up in Shanny's doghouse.

If you take 2024 and liken it to 2017, and say 2025 is like 2018, then I agree, they definitely have a playoff caliber team sorta like in 2019. The 2019 team was a pretty strong team. It wasn't perfect team and I'm not ready to proclaime the 49ers as having a good enough shot at #6🏆 this year, but I do think they are in the top 10 teams of the NFL **if** (big if) this years draft has the same impact that the 2025 draft had. Again, just basing my conclusion on what they have been able to do in the past.

True, the early draft picks in rds 1-3 have been hysterically bad for years

Huh? Glaring holes everywhere? Other than LG and FS I just don't see many glaring holes, also we didn't even draft anyone in the 1st and we didn't draft a RB in rd 3 2yrs ago, I'm not sure WTF you're talking about also they took an edge in rd 3 which in early rounds and they'll likely add someone vet wise soon and I doubt Stribling goes into the dog house

You realize there are ways to address needs outside of just drafting them in the first round?

Also if you're going to rant please fact check yourself. Guerendo wasn't a 3rd rounder and we didn't have a first rounder this year.

Their roster management had them going on deep playoff runs more times than not and one of the most talented rosters in the league. They had one massive failure which hurt the team in many ways that they're still rebuilding from.

Their number 1 issue has been very clear - health.

But from the options in the poll and to keep it current it's safety play.

True, the early draft picks in rds 1-3 have been hysterically bad for years

They kind of had a down year, draft wise, in 2024 when Adam Peters left, but I think 2025 they had a solid draft. I think 2024 was when John Lynch really took over the draft process - since Adam was gone - to really make the draft process his own. That whole period after the Trey Lance draft bust and the CMC trade - they basically had no draft picks for that period of time. But recently, I think, they've had more success. I think John Lynch is coming into his own as a GM. We'll see how the 2026 draft class goes, but I like what I'm seeing of the 2026 draft video clips - post-draft.

I would say age along with health because injuries often happen more with age. It can also make it harder to recover.
