I said that just like 42 and 36, this kid will be better off playing the FS position after his early years..

I read your post and I saw nothing in there of substance where you can make such a conclusion outside of shooting from your hip and making a wild prediction. It's not like the kid was a ballhawk out there. Nor is his body type that of a safety. How many successful NFL safeties have you seen who were anywhere close to his height and not well over 200 lbs? And if you bring up Hanks then know he was a good 2 inches shorter and played in an era when guys were a lot smaller and the rules didn't handicap defenses the way they do now.

who cares about the height, I was not posting about his height or his pencil neck like Merton's... I was talking about the style of play I saw when I watched a lot of UW games.. it was obvious to me THEN that FS is his natural position when he gets to the NFL..

42 was the best CB in 81 and 82, and even Bill Walsh said that he was a big guy and FS was his natural position..

36, he did not last very long at the CB position either, he was OK at first, but he would have taken over Elvis Patterson's nickname as The Toast had we kept him at the corner.

I don't know how far you go back, or when you started watching football, but we once drafted a big and tall kid from UW who was an All American CB in college, helped them win the championship but could not cut it as a corner in the NFL... the rook we got now, he's pretty much the same.. FS is his future..

I'm not saying he's a FS now, I'm saying FS is his future..
