Welcome to the NFL rookie.

Still was on the winning team

Was Bolles and happened after the whistle.

he got blocked to bajeesus and back

this is good tho, he should learn from this.. No " buying tickets " !!

He is old for a rookie, not sure how much more there is to learn for a 25 year old rook.

Yeah, I stopped learning at 25 too.
He's improved every game. He had his best game this week. He is getting so close.

I didn't stop learning how not to get pancaked until I was 32.
He's really thin.
I don't know. He's fast coming around the corner. But never gets there. Doesn't do much. Gets road graded in the run game. He can get planted straight on his back. He's almost 100 lbs. lighter than the Tackles across from him and it really shows in the run game. That 239 lbs. needs to go to 259 lbs. at least. He needs +20 lbs. of muscle. He's just way too thin and not strong enough. He's a one hit wonder. It's just speed only. Which gets neutralized if they get their hands on him. He's done if a bigger, stronger Tackle gets their hands on him.

He just needs reps against Pro tackles. He's only 11 lbs lighter than Micah

I mean stopping the run isn't what he's ever been about. He's playing that because the 49ers need bodies. He's a pass rusher.

It's way too early in the year to be making such dramatic statements. He did not do as well against Denver as in previous games but his broken hand limited his ability to play off blocks. In four weeks when his hand is healed, he will be much more effective.

And much more experienced, much more seasoned, and you know what they say when you train yourself in limited capacity, him by playing with broken hand is like playing with one hand tied up and it will only help you significantly when become 100 percent again

In the right scheme he'll be effective if he's used right. Fred Dean and Charles Haley weren't big Bosa sized guys, but they were put in a scheme that magnified their strengths and eliminated their weaknesses. My hope is Height continues to improve and that he heals up and stays healthy the rest of the season.

I didn't like him as a prospect, didn't understand the buzz about him during the draft season for this exact reason. 239 lbs is LB weight, not hand in the dirt weight. Still, I've chosen to be cautiously optimistic given the reports of his get off during TC, but I'm not ready to give him any flowers yet.

This dude needs to hit the weight room HARD in the off-season. Yes, even at 25 years old, he is still a "developmental" prospect given his size. He needs to put on at least 10-15 lbs of muscle, and this is different than just putting on 10-15 lbs of sloppy weight. That's VERY hard to do in 1 off-season. I wanna say 20 lbs, but 20 lbs of muscle in 1 off-season is impossible without PED's, even 10-15 lbs of pure muscle in one off-season without PED's isn't very realistic. But I think if he can get to 255 lbs and maintain his speed, he still will never be an anchor against the run, but at least he can have a chance to convert that speed into power.

Fred Dean and Charles Haley also played 30-40 years ago when players weren't nearly as big as they are now.

I can't think of a single pass rusher besides Von Miller who has been effective at 240 lbs or below in the last 10-20 years, and even he is an anomaly.

Ya. Wasn't a fan of the pick. I try not to get too caught up in just measureables, but sub 240 lbs on the DL is not gonna cut it. He is getting ragdolled on a lot of plays, taken off his feet.
