Both Lombardi and Cohn are pretty insufferable, and agreed, are on opposite sides of the spectrum.

Dave's reporting is fine. It's his snobbish way about himself that led to me unsubscribing and ignoring a year or two ago.
Among other things, I don't need to know what you're eating from first-class as that has no appeal for me.

They are extremists. Reality is somewhere in between.

yes.
if you want middle of the road straight down the line try Matt Maiocco.
I actually like some of Lombardi and some of Cohns takes.
but both are just yin/yang influencers.

No but I have detected bad blood between them.
Your idea is genius.

Imagine being so empty that you take to X to complain about the low-cost signing of an OL named Brett Toth, who…

Lombardi = cheerleader
Cohn = very negative
Matt Maiocco = fair and even handed
I don't know much about Toth. But they are probably wanting him as a backup for depth.

He's putting out much more content now and as a result, he's getting repetitive. Interesting that each of these guys have different tones and audience that gravitate to them.

I don't mind Dave, but I really don't watch his content all that much.
Him and Cohn are really two sides of the same coin. Cohn is an internet troll that gained sentience, and Dave is an internet fanboy that gained sentience.

This would actually be a pretty interesting thing to watch.

He's trying to develop a strong social media following for monetization purposes. He also integrates 49ers updates with personal travel destinations (I'm sure for tax deduction reasons :-)). I like his salary cap analysis and tracker - those are helpful and interesting. His written articles are good - his videos are bleh.
Maiocco and Barrows are my OGs and continue to be my favorite. I read their content and watch Maiocco's YT videos. Both seem genuine and fact-based.
