That sucks for Brayden Willis. Getting released after already traveling to Australia. Knowing how cheap the Yorks are, we probably won't even pay for his ticket to fly back to the states.

As Barrows has hinted at Willis will get signed to the practice squad. It's a trasactional move.

He's subject to waivers so it's not a guarantee.

Ok? So in that instance he's on another teams 53. He's not being left high and dry in Aus either way.

Is buying tickets, merchandise, and subscribing to 80 different streaming services to watch the games not enough? They've gotten plenty of money from me. They should use some of it to address the injury issues we've had for more than a decade. Instead the Yorks do the bare minimum.

12 years of "bad luck" when it comes to injuries, but maybe this year will be different. So far this year, we've already had more players than any other team miss practice by a significant margin (and no, we're not the only team to hold players out as a precaution). Off to a great start. Thanks Jed! It sure seems like he's really focused on addressing the problem.

I'm not sure why everyone is so eager to let our billionaire owners off the hook. They have the resources to fix these problems and they haven't.

They don't buy tickets. They charter airplanes, and in this case, they charted an Airbus 380., one of the biggest airplanes around. There is no way he doesn't get a lift home, especially if they tell him they intend to sign him to the ps if he's available.

according to Nick Wagoner, just this off season, the Yorks spent $9 million to improve the rehab and recovery facilities and hired 3 new physical therapy staff members.
They've spent much more over the previous years trying to address the injury problem, and former players like Richard Sherman and John Feliciano claim the 49ers do more than most teams do and spend more money on this issue.

There have been several teams that have had more injuries than the Niners. I checked several sites and they've rarely led the league in injuries. Top 5-15 a lot but. We feel the injuries more because they've often been key players. Imagine how Bengals fans feel with Burrow getting hurt all the time. Last year Washington was devastated with injuries. I think 7 teams lost their startng QB.

The NFL is a test of survival. The teams that make it to the SB are usually among the healthiest. The last 2 times the Niners made it were years when we were among the healthiest teams at the end of the year.

So both teams take the field and start playing around 10:30AM LOCAL AUSTRALIA TIME ?

Or so they claim. We haven't seen any change in the results so far and they shouldn't be taken on their word. If it is true, then I'm glad they've finally decided to start addressing it after more than a decade of it being an issue. Very proactive of them.
