Neither Saleh nor Demeco have superbowl wins as a DC the way Raheem does as a DC. Keep in mind Raheem's DLine squad was decimated like Kyle's WR squad and they still stopped the run with undrafted guys.

YPG stats rarely tell the story. Yards per play gives you a better look.

49ers are giving up the 4th highest completion percentage in the NFL, but are 7th in YPA.

Tied for second in YPA for rush. Tied for 1st in rush TD given up.

We are tied for 4th worst in interceptions. But tied for 4th best in forced fumbles.

So opponents are completing a lot of passes because they're forced to check it down where our LB's clean things up.

Teams can run the ball all the way to the red zone then are forced to settle for field goals, if they don't fumble.

We basically turn every QB into Bo Nix.

He didn't have his chief blitzer (Upton Stout). That's probably why the defense was putrid vanilla.

I get it- blitzing with Jack Jones covering. Raheem was protecting the defense. If he had a better corner, he may have been more willing.
