im sure when they built Levi's it affected the entire electrical distribution infrastructure in the area, someone should investigate how, what and when

The scientific consensus does not support the idea that low-frequency EMF exposure weakens tendons or causes collagen to degrade in athletes. This kind of effect hasn't been demonstrated in well-controlled human studies. The theory is an interesting internet narrative, but it remains speculative and unsupported by established research.

Biggest reason for the injuries. S**t happens.

But has there been actual long term studies on humans? (admittedly I don't know.)

The term "Scientific Consensus" is not as impressive as people think.
Place a gauss meter there at the facility, let it record electromagnetic levels for several months. While they are at it they could place instruments there to measure other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. Look at the data, see what happens.

I suppose this kind of speculative theory can be compared to COVID-19 conspiracy theories...

So i'm a little confused.

The substation being close to the practice field is the root cause according to the theory. But it was built in 2012 so any injuries prior to that has any merit right?

Taybor Pepper is saying there might be something to the theory just by looking at the trees. What kind of trees are they? I have trees in my yard that shed in October and some trees that shed in February.

I've seen comments by people claiming to be experts in that field saying the theory has no merit. We all know everything on the internet is true so thats why i'm confused.

If i was York and if i knew my training staff was doing everything just like other teams i'd move training camp and practice to another location for a year. Yes it would be inconvenient but if injures dipped sharply for that year then you'd at least know.

Time to head back up to Rocklin and see what happens.

I mean, training camp in Rocklin=5-0 in the SB

No training camp in Rocklin=0-3 in the SB

Its science.

this is according to google AI (for whatever that is worth)

Studies on low-frequency electromagnetic field (LF-EMF) exposure show mixed results, with some epidemiological research suggesting links to childhood leukemia (though not confirmed by lab studies) and lab/animal studies finding effects on neurogenesis, oxidative stress, and cellular function, often at specific frequencies/intensities, but generally concluding low-level exposure is considered safe while high levels can cause reversible nerve/muscle stimulation. Research explores impacts on the nervous system, cancer risk, and general biological responses, but a clear consensus on long-term, low-level human health risks remains elusive, with high-level, short-term effects well-documented.
Like chicken soup, it couldn't hurt (TC in Rocklin).

A wider look at the claim... Is a power plant really behind the 49ers' injury woes?

EDIT: "Shanahan's smash-mouth style on offense — and a defense focused on reacting and tackling at maximum effort — is one reason some have speculated could lead to injury. Players themselves cited turf issues at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium for a game that saw two 49ers tear their ACLs. San Francisco ranked eighth overall out of 32 teams on the NFL Players' Association's latest satisfaction survey, but its training room and training staff received the worst marks, both among the bottom third in the league."

You can also say that for mRNA vaccines, long-term health risks remain unknown.
