I think Kyle is a smarter game planner than that. He's not an idiot. He knows Ricky likely won't play and wont hinge his gameplan on a WR that hasnt been healthy all season.

The problem is outside of Ricky and JJ we have a pocket full of spare change at WR.

I have slight optimism due to the other games this year in which we were shorthanded, i.e. the TNF game against LAR. We went in with Tonges, Bourne, D. Rob and MVS and Mac was able to dice them up all game with the short pass game. Wishful thinking, I know...

There is a blueprint to win this game. It's to go up by multiple scores and get Philly's offense into panic mode. They stall when they have to improvise. Jalen can't play QB outside his comfort zone, and he'll sacrifice throwing it to his stud receivers just to prevent an INT.

But if Kyle plays "not to lose" which he has a tendency to in big games, then we are in trouble. We should be going for it on 4th downs if it's 4 yards and less anytime and everytime we are hovering around the 50 yard line. Can't make this about field position bc this defense will easily allow an 80-90 yard drive…

Have you seen Anthony Pleasants?

I'm not disagreeing with the premise. Clearly Trent gives you way more confidence to call those plays but you can't abandon an entire set of plays bc your stud oline man is out. Is this why we didn't take any deep shots ? Pearsall didn't play so we decided not to even test the safeties/corners ?

Thats not good playcalling if you can't mix up your playbook…

Well if they had a servicable OT then maybe its possible. And then you draft 3 Wrs in the top 4 rds the past 2 years and none have got on the field while you f**k up the contracts of your other two Wrs....how about we make better personnel decisions.

Playing the #1 run defense might have something to do with the play calls (in addition to being without your All-Pro LT).
I also think Kyle should just empty the clip and throw everything at em this game. This team was never great at playing conservatively. holding leads and catching other team making mistakes even when the roster was loaded (perhaps the Cowboys playoffs game in 22 being the only exception).

Basically, the opposite of what happened last Saturday. If this means they lose by three scores, so be it. Just pedal to the metal.

We need to pound the rock. Something that has been s**t most of the year. It sad that over 18 weeks we havent seen James or some young RB legs. The run game has looked tired all year. Aside from that, keep our defense off the field. Brock cant make mistakes.
Be unpredictable . Trick plays /formations uncommon to us. Kyle open up that playbook.
We have to hope that the atrocious offensive play of the Eagles shows up. Hurts has been awful this year. We don't want to see a miraculous turnaround.

I think this game comes down to McCaffrey. If he has a huge game I think we win.

Get Tonges and Kittle on the field!
I still don't feel confident in us winning this game but man…if we find a way to win this one things can really get interesting.

Even if we have to go back into Seattle maybe the beating we took at home helps us find a way to glow up on offense - Pearsall and Cowing adding speed to push Seattle out of what was working for them along with Trent hopefully being back out there.

On defense I don't know if Fred could realistically be back…but boy would that light the boys up.

Of course gotta get through another tough defense this weekend and hope the young guys and street signings can make it work somehow!

This season has been such a gut punch with the injuries but also really inspirational to see them pull through. Don't want it to end :(
Yall remember when Mostert single handily carried our offense to beat a playoff team?

Why can't Guerendo be that for this game?

His elite speed might be just enough to turn our usual 7 yard hard fought runs into TDs.

It's not showing, but the video is NFL feature video about Mostert and Kyle and his performance in the title game vs Packers. The fact that Coleman had to get hurt for Mostert to get the carries. 😕 220 yards 4 TDs.

I'm just desperate out here for a solution.

I think most of yall (even homers) don't feel confident because you don't see Kyle changing much for this game.

I'm still in the delusional state that Kyle might actually have some surpise approach...will use everything he can to see what works.

It's nice to want things.

On one hand, I really like to think we would turn it around in the playoffs, given Shanahan is 6-0 in the wild card and divisional rounds. He certainly knows how to start emptying the bag of tricks.

On the other hand, if there's a team that should be able to flip a switch in the playoffs, it's this Eagles team that is stacked with offensive talent despite having an inconsistent offense all season…

He certainly won't change to start the game. But if we go down big then he might have to adjust. At which point it might be too little too late.

Our only hope is to take a lead and force Philly into an uncomfortable position. Get them out of their game plan and Hurts will make bad decisions. Keep it close to the vest, and it'll be a rout…
