Before the season, with Bosa, Warner, Mykell, Aiyuk (at any point, even at half of his talent which was inevitable), Trent, Kittle, Pearsall, and Purdy not missing countless games...
I was thinking/hoping for 10 wins, figured ceiling was that or 11, max.
The Niners going 12-5 is absolutely bananas--at all, let alone what they've been through. They could easily be a 6 win club and no one would blame them or wonder why.
But the cinderella story of going 12-5 despite all that and more, and being in a division that went 13-4, 12-5, and 12-5, and forcing this team to go battered into Philly...absolutely sucks.
I have never felt more hopeless or unenthusiastic for a playoff matchup. They simply don't have the horses. And by the same token, if they win, it's the biggest underdog playoff win I've ever seen.
And so, we wait.

I want to believe. I really do. Just like you do. I just can't go there. Yet. Perhaps later this week. Perhaps not. I'm still bummed from Saturday's loss.

They just racked our nuts so I don't see how Iggles will be that much different. Good running game, game-manager type QB and defense that's pretty stout. One good thing is all the young players on this team will be here next year. Building a championship level roster doesn't happen overnight.
The eagles do not have a good running game. They are a bottom 10 run team in ypc. Their OL is not good. Their QB is similar to darnold: good if read 1 is open, panics otherwise.
You may be remembering last year's eagles. Their offense is as bad as our defense this year
I definitely remember Barkley's OPOY season. I know '25 hasn't been near that rushing performance, but I'm just talking about how terrible the Niners run D is so Barkley having a field day for a change from most of the regular season wouldn't surprise me.

Anyone know if we are going to have a LB? Lol we had both our LBs go down. Idk who the f**k the two in the game were.
this season has been impressive the guys have made it this far but almost feel like we are watching a wounded dog. I respect the effort it's applying to keep going but… just stop and let it heal. Lol
hopefully I'm proven wrong but that loss was just unreal. Seattle did everything to keep us in the game and we essentially got shut up. lol SHUT OUT. Insane. Couldn't stop a runny nose. Terrible.
once the niners season is done, I stop watching football. Idc about what happens outside of them.

Thing is, I am not really bummed..cause after I saw Trent and Ricky were both out..I never really thought we were going to win. Not that "I didn't believe", it's just reality. Just a feeling like well, ok.. I will just watch a football game. For whatever reason, the Bears game felt more intense. But yeah, I knew going in..probably not...and I kinda liked the jerseys at first..kinda..in all honesty..was never super loving them lol. I do have a black Purdy jersey though lol..but I hardly wear it..the red gets all the wear and stains haha.
The girl who sang the national anthem, her outfit, cool..but idk..at the same time I am thinking, we ain't the Raiders lol. Goth s**t ain't us lol. Black is not really our vibe or color. Blackout felt too much like Black Hole..no thanks haha. And there was not enough gold on those fits! Or helmet..just throw them in the trash haha. Directly in the bin.
It's huge to lose both Ricky and Trent in one of the top games of the season. Along with all the other injuries we have had and continue to have, naa, I wasn't thinking we were going to pull out a win. Even when CMC coughed up the ball..I was like, alright dude...well, that does it then. And I always kinda worried about him having ball protection issues since the SB..once bitten lol. His eyes get too far ahead before he secures the ball.

I mean I love the 49ers, but I think most of us agree we probably don't stand a chance and at +3.5 for the odds. I think I may put up a few hundred on it, can't be that easy right?

I assume it will go up as everyone starts dropping money on the Eagles. No way you don't take the Eagles at a line that low.

Lol huh? Are they really 3.5 dogs on the road? If so that's not THAT much, Eagles are very inconsistent and did not look great down the stretch at all outside of the Bills win and some bad teams they beat.
not saying I like the Niners chances, but I'm not confident enough in the Eagles to "put up a few hundred" on them

Back 2 Back top defenses in the league (Texans and maybe broncos are better). No LBs. Sucks.
bears and Niners both crapped the bed offensively after that big game. lol so many injuries. Sucks so bad.

Lol I wasn't expecting to win but at the same time, was not expecting to perform that poorly. I like Steve Young's analogy about, "stopping the bleeding." We could not stop it, gushing out all over with no gauze in sight lol..maybe a Walmart band-aid when we got rhythm, way.too.late. in the game..but all came gushing out again..and we met our demise lol.
And same, idgaf about football after the Niners are out..I dnt watch SBs if they ain't in em lol.

he seems annoyed he wasn't able to have a bigger spread.
He's so excited for the potential blowout in favor of the Eagles. I think most honest fans know this is a possibility that we get destroyed in the playoffs but Kyle getting us to the playoffs with this injured roster has been a master class of coaching.
