Niners need to do the following:
1. Control the pace of the game by keeping the Bears defense on the field and wearing them out.
2. Do #1 by establishing a strong run game; the Bears defense though great on creating turnovers isn't strong against the run.
3. Minimize critical turnovers/protect the ball and Purdy, don't force the ball in if it isn't there.
4. Pace the run game with short passes and then keep the Bears honest with some deep connections. Purdy after the run is established should have opportunities to make connections down the field for some major gains or scores.

I do think the Bears will test the Niners, and like on Monday, if our offense dominates we should come out with a win, I hope. I'm always nervous still . . . 49ers 27 Bears 24

IF we win on Sunday night I think we have a REALLY good chance to run the table. I am not confident in Seattle and Darnold and feel we can exploit his tendency for turnovers. However Seattle's run game will be a challenge for our defense. Just like Monday, the defense needs 3 to 4 stops where our offense goes and scores TD's after the stop. 49ers 24 Seattle 21 in a hard fought game won in the trenches.

Hmmm, so sounds like we will at least get Ricky back. I think we can rest Kittle then if Ricky is good to go.

NEED to get rid of them after the season.

They are both more box safeties than free safeties. They do that well. What we need is a true coverage Free Safety.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news for your theory. I was at the Colts game. This offense is playing in 1 speed to the end of the season. 35 points or bust.

We'll see. I think the Bears and Seattle will burn more time off the clock as they drive since they are such run dominant. The Bears aren't great at putting pressure on the opposing QB so that may play into the 49ers success, though they have a decent secondary. Time of possession in both games is another factor I believe the Niners need to win. They did a great job burning the clock while moving the ball lately. It will come down to turnovers in key situation and points off turnovers and the 49ers defense able to make multiple stops so their offense can do their thing. The defense doesn't have to be perfect, just good enough to get a few stops to let the offense do its thing. I truly would love to see a 41-28 49er victory and I could see that happening. I can also see what I said initially and expect that more, a 27-24 or a 30-24 victory for the Niners. Bottom line I just can't wait for Sunday night!
We are gonna score 40 points like usual. 49ers 45 - 31. We are gonna stuff the run and make Caleb play QB and score at will like we will be doing to everyone the rest of this season

Brings back memories

The 1994 NFC Divisional Playoff featured the dominant San Francisco 49ers crushing the Chicago Bears 44-15 at Candlestick Park on January 7, 1995, with the 49ers' explosive offense, led by MVP Steve Young and Jerry Rice, overwhelming the Bears despite an early Chicago field goal; the 49ers scored 30 unanswered points in the first half, with William Floyd scoring three TDs in the lopsided win.

You were a Bears fan back then too How disgusting

IMO, what will make or break this game are turnovers - bears lead the league in interceptions by a big margin (I think 5 more than anyone else has.

we need to win the turnover battle and play fundamental ball. Bears will also have to score at least 30 to beat us, which I don't see happening - at least not before we drop 40.

They don't let him practice everyday cause ever. It's not unusual for him to not practice today.

getting Renardo green & Pearsall back is huge though, even if they're limited. Lutter gets beat like he stole something.

we are surprisingly healthy, fingers crossed.

Nvm, I mistakenly thought it was showing INTs only.
