In a practical sense, the playoffs begin next Sunday in Indy. The Colts are coming off a disappointing loss to the Seahawks after keeping them out of the end zone all day. That defense is good. Their DTs, beginning with our old friend DeForest Buckner, are good at putting pressure on the QB. After a solid game last week, Burford and Puni struggled against Jeffrey Simmons (everybody does) and will be looking to pick it up this Sunday. Phillip Rivers will be keen to put up a win and the team seems to have united behind his efforts. Don't count him out. The support of the home town crowd will help. Purdy is coming off his best game in quite a while. He seems to be back to 2023 levels. Let the talk begin...

Worried about our run game against their competent run defense.
Worried about our sandy vagina receiving corps not being healthy enough to attack their pass coverage weakness.
If we eliminate turnovers I think we win this thing by +7.

I don't think he can sling it very well. I think we should play cover 3 dare him to throw seems and jump every routes first cut when it's a passing down. And DEs and LBs need to be super active looking for screen passes. Slowing down JT is gonna be rough though.

I have respect for Rivers and his career. I saw just some clips from his game last week and his velocity was not at all what it once was (expectedly).

This team fights each game. Sometimes it's pretty, sometimes it's pretty ugly. It's amazing what they've been able to do with chewing gum and bailing wire this season. I expect it'll be a slugfest with heart-stoppers the rest of the way. I love to watch this team!
