How many of our older players do you guys expect to either retire or get cut next year?

Agree that a Brendel should be cut, also YGM, maybe our punter retires.

If they do one more they need to do it elsewhere

They should have traded Trent and CMC the moment they decided to quit this season. Juice prob gone. Kittle is who knows. Bosa and Warner can't be expected to be in elite form next year. So now we're looking at a full rebuild and 2027.

I think Kittle earned the right to retire a 49er in their minds. He has an injury early on every damn season, but he does his job and does it above and beyond.

While I totally get your idea of offloading guys now since the odds are we are not going win it all this year given the injuries etc.... They are 6-3. To trade TW and CMC etc. is a surefire way for the players to quit on Kyle. With all the players we figure won't be back it makes even more sense why they didn't over pay on any trade. We will need those picks.

Who decided to quit this season? You mean the team or CMC and Trent? Either way, it's rubbish.

Let's hold off on all this speculation until there is actually some credible evidence that any of this will happen. There are plenty of other threads to talk about the team.
