The #49ers highest-graded pass rusher against the New York #Giants was DL KEON WHITE!
He had a team-high 31.3% win rate in true-pass sets, per @LombardiHimself pic.twitter.com/h2EKc2pEd3
The 49ers have a clear plan for Keion White. 20 of his 33 snaps came lined up inside at defensive tackle. Yesterday, Kyle Shanahan said, "Keion definitely shows a lot of inside rush potential."

PFF credited White with a 20% win percentage as a pass rusher. That was the… pic.twitter.com/D9ETbZ9YlL
He creates havoc. Dudes gonna become a must resign by end of next year.
Lynch Is building up a beastly DL for the future
Assuming no more changes, what do you think the depth chart looks like next year
It's hard to put such a chart together given the number of rookies/newcomers in the mix. Assuming good health, here is my guess:
Edge: Bosa and Huff. Sam, Ferrell,
Swing: Mykel and White (situational position)
DT: Collins and West, Givens, Elliott
Kevin Givens, Kalia Davis, Clelin Ferrell and Jordan Elliot are all UFA's. All are easily replaced. Sam O is a RFA and will be back.
Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams? Who knows if they will be ready to start the year.
This will be another DL heavy draft IMO. I would wager a ton of money we go DE/DT in Rd1/2
Edge:
Bryce Huff
Sam O
Keion White
Nick Bosa?
Mykel Williams?
Tackle:
Rookie Rd1
Alfred Collins
CJ West
One of Elliot/Givens/Davis
A true disrupting 3T is a massive need for this team and I expect that to be our 1st round pick especially considering Bosa and Williams will be ready for week 1
Thats why a trade for Quinnen Williams made so much sense. Oh well.

It would have been hard for the 49ers to get Williams. Dallas gave up a 2nd round pick in 2026 and a first rounder in 2027. They had 2 firsts in 2026 and 2027. The Niners aren't in that position. Even if they matched Dallas the Jets probably wouldn't have traded to SF. The Niners draft picks will likely be later in the rounds than Dallas was giving up so they would have needed to sweeten the offer. On top of that Williams would be expensive and the Niners already have a lot of expensive players. At this point they prefer to build with younger players that cost less.

Can't do it. With our luck it will just be another wasted pick. We need to add through free agency, hopefully guys that can stay healthy.

Another year of neglect for the OL in favor of the DL? Sounds about right.

Having a healthy QB1 and QB2 is very overrated.

We have no idea who Lynch/Shanahan will draft for the DL next year. Unless something crazy happens, I would be shocked if the 1st goes to DL. I assume we will finally get our 1st round OT next year. Despite all the chatter, it is clear that the highest possible value needs to be placed on LT with Trent almost certainly retiring. That reality leaves us with shuffling the current pieces on the DL.

IMO it would be worth suffering through another year of a struggling defense in order to get the Oline rebuilt with a couple quality backup guys.
Maybe we need to take the Greatest Show On Turf approach and just see if we can outscore teams and just try to survive on defense.

It's supposed to be a strong tackle draft too.
