Well, no team ever won a Super Bowl in October anyway. Get in the playoffs and get hot. That's how you do it. Bills, Ravens, Packers, Lions, Miami look unbeatable in October or November the last seasons….

Get hot with no O and D lines?

Well, our d line might be back at least after the bye week and I hope we get better when Ben bartch is back and Burford gets us more options. I actually like Hennessy over Brendel… But yes, the o line is the weak link and it's hard to believe that Bartch is the missing piece to be a contender.
Texans got smashed in front of everyone last week, they came prepared today and wanted it more than us. Niners made costly mistakes and had a bad game on defense. Still tho, the game was never out of reach until late in the 4th and especially after the INT. Jones threw that ball like his body operates off estrogen and not testosterone

One thing's for sure so far, we haven't lost two in a row. Bet that azz Dart / Giants will make more mistakes than us. We'll be ready next week. JJ looks like his body healed. Kittle should be back to himself (looked good today). Bourne and Tonges look good. CMC is the best. Shanny should look into B Robinson being used more on KR/PR.

They might have to elevate Valdez and/or Anderson, let Nick Martin get more involved, Saleh needs to get injured defense prepared

I hope Niner fans show up in NY. They showed up in Houston even tho the team did not 49ers will beat Giants to get to 6-3 #BookIt

It wouldn't matter if we were the #1 seed, this team is not winning anything. It's just wasting your time pipe dreaming up playoff scenarios. If you can't see that from the play on the field then you're not paying attention.

We should have back our starting QB next week and our WR1 Ayiuk should be back too. Those are huge changes.

Huff will soon be back and I think we trade for an elite linebacker as well as elite pass rusher.

I forgot about Pearsall too.

We can win the Super Bowl with those players.

Not happening

All that movement doesn't address our biggest weaknesses which is keeping us from extending drives and scoring points. From LG all the way over to RT is abysmal right now Puni is having one of the worst soph slumps we've ever seen and even Trent Williams at LT isn't reliable as it once was. Yes we have our mobile QB coming back but it would be a miracle if he doesn't get hurt again behind the dudes getting paid to protect him.

we're fielding a preseason defense after all these injuries which means it's up to the offense to win games shanny is going to have to game plan his side of the ball better John lynch said it himself they are comfortable with what they have in the building right now I don't foresee any blockbuster trades

The good news is that with 9 games remaining, we still control our own destiny to win the division. Meaning if we win our next 9 games, no matter what everyone else does, we still win the division.

If SF, LA, and SEA all win out, SF finishes 3rd in the division.

They play each other so they can't all win out

LA and Sea still have to play us 1 more time so it's not possible that all 3 teams would win out

Great depth of intelligence on display here
49ers are still in control of their own destiny in the division. This means that if we win out (win the next 9 games), no matter what Seattle or Rams do, we win division.
In the next 2 weeks, I think:
49ers win at Giants and at home against Rams
Rams win at home against Saints and lose at 49ers
Seattle loses at Washington and wins at home against AZ

This creates a 3 way tie in NFC West with 49ers holding the tiebreaker
To be competitive to win Super Bowl, 49ers need to trade for both an elite linebacker as well as pass rusher. Preferably to the quality of both Bosa and Warner. They are out there.
