Hate to be the annoying optimist, but if we beat the Giants next week who just lost Skattebo, we would be 6-3 and 6-1 in the NFC (and still in driver's seat for playoffs).

There are far worse situations to be in. Hopefully we bounce back next week.

We'll need a trade and Gross Matos back.

Nothing wrong with thinking this way.

if we still had Fred I'd be with you. Not sure I can get there.

They just lost to a bucket of trash on offense. The giants have an elite pass rush

What a bunch of embarrassing fans we have

Stayed to the brutal end, took the heckling and gave the fans around us their props. Honestly this game could have been way worse. Just gotta take it and move on

The only positive is this was another non conference game loss. Still 3-0 in the division and 5-1 in the conference.

With that loss the 49ers dropped all the way to the 7th seed.

Dam Seattle has looked real good tho, that team scares me more than the rams, we need to make some moves to keep pace, we are now in 3rd place

>>>we need to make some moves to keep pace, we are now in 3rd place

No, no we don't. Making moves now likely just prolongs the rebuilding process. The goal isn't to finish above Seattle this year, it is to build a stronger and younger team so we can compete for a SB in the next year or 2. Any moves that we make this year should be to shed older expensive players and try to get more draft picks.

That's why we won't win s**t or beat teams we should.

But like I said, Lynch didn't make trades or sign a free agent and this were the results. It's gonna continue to be the results of you continue to do nothing or be conservative.

Nonsense....this years team is NOT a Superbowl ready team....too many things to fix. We are not one key player away ......gotta build through the draft and giving away picks now is not the right move. Trading for inexpensive young inexpensive players that can develop is fine.....but no way should we give away high picks for a big trade now, because we still won't be making a SB appearance this year.

Our O-Line was exposed today, especially on the right side......that was pathetic. I hope it gets addressed in the 2026 draft.

With the team as decimated by injury as it is we aren't winning s**t this year either way - which is why you dont make the trades.

Exactly.

They have to at least do this. We don't have enough bodies on the DL

We just need bodies at this rate lol. Bosa,YGM, Huff, now Sam O. Yikes!
We should not even bring in a new water boy. This team is not ready and a rental or mid-level player or two isn't going to fix it. Hope for Bosa and Fred next year and spend every single asset on OL.

Love the team but we are not contenders this year. It's better to accept it and let it play out. Less heartburn. Changes are required. I'm not against a GM refreshening.
Lol stopped watching at the half, b slap ass whipping that we weren't coming back from. Hopefully, we will do better against the Giants. Do not put Brock out there at MetLife. I don't expect they will though.
