Mykel Williams and Alfred Collins look really good. Mykel looks like a star. CJ West is too athletic to not have an impact eventually. He was dominant in College. He's hurt right now. But I think he will come along. The defensive line looks dramatically better and young too. We just need Bosa back next year and our pass rusher.

I'd say the offseason goal to build a stout D-line to stop the run has been met. Now we need to fabricate consistent QB pressures and sacks.

I would be SO juiced about this D line if they had any sort of a pass rush. Losing Bosa was a huge glow. John Lynch really needs to start making some phone calls, and not just for practice squad dudes. Make a serious offer for Trey Hendrickson.

Completely 💯 agree. It would be so much more fun w/ Bosa out there but this defense will be so much better by the end of the year! Great job boys!!

I would have said this a few months ago and nothing has happened to change that feeling.

This. If they could actually generate a pass rush I would feel a lot better.

As a rental? Or are you seriously suggesting we get him in our cap structure? We can't be grabbing rentals at this stage. Talent wise we're so far off the pace, Kyle and Saleh are coaching their butts off, but that won't cut it come playoff time with all the film out there.

This will never happen now. I believe they will make some move but it will not be for a one year rental. It will be someone with at least two years on contract and a chance to resign later. There is next to zero chance they mess with next year cap and picks for a rental who will be gone most likely. TH will not be a 9er.

We seem to be doing very well using the guys we drafted who weren't getting playing time.
