Okay fine.

Most important game of the season thus far.

And considering we've already played two division games, that's actually saying something. We needed this win to stay atop of the division and now we're already 10 miles behind the 8-ball despite starting 3-0 and 2-0 in the division…

Why was it the wrong choice? If you can play you play. Also Mac Joes was injured as well. I don't think it was the wrong choice to start Purdy.
The offense has had trouble all season already now we are down to backup QB, 4th and 5th string WR, backup tight end, and a RB that is a fraction of what he once was and has had a huge workload already... I see no way we are competitive in this game.

I'm going the opposite direction. At 3-0 you push your chips in at the more likely hand of the 2 (games)

Rams about to face Ravens without Lamar too. Geez things setting up for them.

It was if Mac was healthier.

Still think you are blowing this game out of proportion. We lose we are 1 game out with 12 games to play. This is the game i expected us to lose before the season even started.
Brock officially ruled out for Thursday.

Because he wasnt 100% or ready, simply by the fact that he is now out. The Jags game ment nothing in the grand scheme. This Rams game ment way more in every aspect. Decisions should of been made for this game and not an out of conference game.

You know… the argument I kept hearing was "Purdy is off the injury report completely so he's 100%!" but I'm starting to think there's something inherently wrong with our medical staff. Clearly Purdy was still hurting if he's going from turf toe, to out, to fine, to playing, to sore toe and out again after just one game. That toe clearly was not 100% despite him not being on the injury report.

Not to mention first they said "Bosa's ACL is probably okay" and we got "Bosa completely tore his ACL" the very next day.

Like… something is simply wrong here. It's not just bad luck or Kyle playing poker or whatever. It's just straight-up an incompetent medical staff. Do other teams go through this? I'm not talking about injuries. I'm talking about straight-up injury management dysfunction. And that's something we CAN control and it needs to be fixed.

The "we're doing something wrong that's leading to this many injuries to stars" crowd might actually have a point.

We lost 3 key players in a game that was pretty meaningless. Should have treated the Jags like a mini bye and have everyone ready for the Thursday game vs the Rams. Now we have zero chance to win this divisional game. Counting BA we are without 4 of our top 5 offensive weapons and our starting QB. Oh and ofcourse our 2nd best defensive player. If the Rams lose this game they should be utterly embarrassed. If they barely win they should be embarrassed.I know people say next man up, but you can't do that when you are without 90% of your star players.

If you listed the Niners top 10 players, They are without 6 of them. Warner, Lenoir, CMC, and Trent are the other 4.

Bunch of f**kin softy's!!!! We ain't winning s**t!!!!
But even if we punted the Jags game there was no guarantee these guys would be fully healthy and/or stayed healthy on TNF.

I think you have to stockpile W's and worry about Division tiebreakers later in the season.
f**k this team

I would agree with this if the players in question where not injured going into the jags game. All 3 players that went into that game gimpy came out worse after. That is just bad management no matter how you spin it. If they went in fine and got hurt that is just bad luck.
