And with the most injured team in the league again. I agree with you. The team showed some mental toughness. They fought all game.
But at the end of the day some of the mistakes the team made were horrendous.
The second interception of Purdy, what was that?
Brendel on the strip sack, what are you doing man?
The Special Teams again were attrocious.
Kyle's playcall in the Redzone keeps getting boring and predictable.

The ball was tipped and deflected towards the linebacker, so wasn't quite as bad as it looked from Purdy.

Watched the DPI call on Stout. Atrocious.

Dude it was a an awful call. Not even close.

SF still has the worse special teams unit in the league, Brock loves turning the ball over and it's like pulling teeth to score in the RZ

all that s**t and they still almost won.
Huge game to win on Thursday to remain in first place.
Next time don't give team bulletin board material, especially when you just lost Bosa! 3-0 and easily be 3-3

Turnovers lost this game. And a punt return for a TD
[ Edited by bud49 on Sep 29, 2025 at 4:50 AM ]
I open up X to do my morning stroll and legitimately see 3 different post of the Eagles getting away with blatant defensive pass interference. The inconsistency in reffing is becoming harder and harder to watch.

It was a horrible call. Stout's a rookie, though. Sometimes you need to earn those calls.

Re: the special teams, some of that is mental coaching problem. With a guy like Washington back there on goal line, why in the world not just kick it deep in end zone? Jeez, that guy gets his hand on ball and all you see is a streak heading for our EZ. Just have our kicker boot it out of EZ. As for punts… same deal. Kick it out of bounds inside the 20. Had we done that Sunday, they would have had almost 135 yards less in punt and KO returns. Alternate coaching decisions could have saved us a ton of yards given up on D.

Not suggesting to do that every game but when a team has returner burners that can outrun every guy on our punt and KO teams…it should definitely be considered.
