I've been to many 49er and Saints games in New Orleans and everyone of them i've went to the Niner fans show up. Its a combination of a few things. For this year and ever since Sean Payton left most Saints fans know there team isn't that good so they are willing to sell their tickets and they also know a lot of people like to come visit New Orleans for the atmosphere. Saints usually have a good home crowd but there is always a decent size away crowd as well, but just seems like the 49ers crowd really comes out.
Saints fans LOVE to chant WHO DAT coming into the Super Dome and after victories but its special leaving the game chanting WE DAT.
