This team is almost completely helpless at this point. You can run right up the middle on them You can run outside with no Mykel setting the edge. Offensive line is suspect. Still too many skill position players hurt. You just can't win like this. They tried the best they could. But expect a decline the 2nd half of the season. Nothing can hold this together anymore. It's just a patch work mess.

Yup, it's like a wound they tried stitching up that kept getting ripped back open wider and wider until they wound up so damaged it was not gonna be able hold up anymore.
11/11/25 -

Playing through Injuries:
Mac Jones - minor knee issue
G Ben Bartch (high ankle) - played about 1/2 the snaps against Rams
DE Bryce Huff - (hamstring) - played against the Rams
C Jake Brendel (hamstring) - played against the Rams
LB Tatum Bethune - (thigh) - seems "nicked up" but going
LB Dee Winters (both knees) - playing, but not great

Limited in Practice
Brock Purdy - (toe) - expected to practice in full this week
WR Ricky Pearsall - (knee PCL) expected to practice this week
DT Alfred Collins - (hip) didn't play against the Rams, hopeful to return this week

Not Practicing Yet
DE Yetur Gross Matos - (knee/hamstring) - 4 week IR started 10/30
WR Brandon Aiuyk - practice window NOT opening this week again - even if they open his practice window, maybe he doesn't even return to live game action this year
WR Jacob Cowing -- hamstring since beginning of season, hasn't returned to practice yet

Out for the season:
Mykel Williams - IR ACL
Nick Bosa- IR ACL
Fred Warner - IR ankle dislocation
Patrick Taylor - IR shoulder
With other NFL teams, players visit kids in the hospital. With the 49ers, kids visit players in the hospital.

Its not the players. Guys getting hurt after being cleared to practice? YGM comes to mind.. AA hasn't had a PF flare up since going to Jacksonville. There rehab people are doing something wrong. Maybe there was something to what Mostert said years ago.

What did Mostert say?

Even healthy with Bosa, Mykel and Warner this D is a mess. Years of missed picked have caught up.

Our Oline cannot run block and McKivitz can't block speed. CMC lost his burst and is not an effective runner but still a threat as a receiver. TW is not nearly as dominant as he was.

Pearsall, Kittle and Purdy are made of glass. They are guaranteed to miss a handful of games each year. Jennings cared more about $$ than winning. He won't be back.

The D has no-one outside of Bosa, Warner and Lenoir. And Bosa has missed 2 out of his 7 years.

We can't draft and York won't let these clowns spend money. It's time for a fresh start.

We have needs at every single position.

I will be surprised if we reach 10 wins and playoffs. This is a 500 team at best.
Looks like we will be fully healthy on offense. Purdy and Pearsall will play. Bartch should start over Burford.

Alfred Collins was limited but he should play. Same with Winters.

So the only injured guys are the IR guys (Bosa, Warner, Williams) and YGM and Cowing who are designated to return.

Thur Nov 13

Limited Participation in Practice

  • DT Alfred Collins (hip)
  • WR Ricky Pearsall (knee)
  • QB Brock Purdy (toe)
  • LB Dee Winters (knee, knee)
I take it back.

Lenoir hurt his calf. Another soft tissue injury. Add it to the list.

"Defensive back Deommodore Lenoir is questionable with a calf injury experienced while jogging between reps during Thursday's practice"

You can't make this up anymore. Softest team in the league
Even our f**king kicker gets hurt.
Another hamstring injury.

Why?
Eddy Piñeiro (Hamstring) and Tatum Bethune (Ankle?), Any other injuries?
Pyrrhus was a wuss. We own the "disastrous wins" record by a a mile.

A pity. I actually enjoyed having a decent kicker again.
