Looks like Jakob Robinson has a broken forearm, so he goes to IR, which is fine since they'll have a chance to look at him for 2026, same with Corey Kiner.

After hearing Cowing's severity of the hamstring, yeah he goes on IR/DFR with Givens as the two who can be placed on the list without having to be on the initial 53.

The rest looks good, though I really hope they keep Valdez & Moss on the 53, idk if they clear waivers, same for Bergen, but we have a little over 52 hours if I'm calculating right, since the cutdown is Tuesday at 4pm EST/1pm PST.

I'd risk it with Bergen over Valdez or Moss.

Anderson, Surratt, Lucas, Valdez, and Moss ... I'd guess a couple are not available to be put on PS.

Just to be clear, I hope the 49ers don't expose Valdez, Moss, Bergen, Colby, Anderson, but I don't know what Kyle & John will do, too hard to really predict this, I try but I'm going to be wrong on a number of players & positions.

Absolutely understood.

I always love the building up of young players so what I want is never what actually happens since they want to win :)

If you had to pick between Tonges and Willis who would you try to get to the PS?

Could see them going with just Burford at swing T.

Borderline questions all over the place which I guess is mostly a good thing.

Luter, Bergen & Willis should be on PS at most. Not sure how/why Willis keeps making the roster. The only thing I ever see him do is whiff on blocks or get penalized but coaches must see something

I think safety is our biggest weakness currently. Hopefully Mustapha will be ready when he's eligible to come off PUP.

I'm not sure how the logistics of Robinson's suspension and taking a roster spot is but if he doesn't count towards the 53 I'd add Bergen or Siran Neal. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Robbie Chosen make the team or brought back after we get a player onto IR or something.

I hope Drew Moss makes it over Zakelj and I'd love to see Evan Anderson make it over having Brayden Willis as a 4th TE.

I'd bet any amount of money that Siran Neal is a lock to make the 53, Brant Boyer said he's an All-Pro player, plus they gave him a 2yr deal with over $2.5M in fully GTD money, they actually lose cap room by cutting Neal.

You're forgetting Givens, he'll start on IR/DFR with Cowing IMO.

Edit: Forgot to say that Robinson goes on reserve/Suspended list Tuesday, so you don't have to cut whoever takes his active roster spot, while Givens & Cowing can be the 2 players to be put on IR without cutting anyone.

Wow, you guys were right on Colby. I think that guy is going to get some starts this year. Moss seems to a little further behind, but he was moving people. Did he play at center? I didn't see him there. Honestly, Hennessy and Zakelj haven't been impressive at all.

I thought Tonges showed some improvement but Willis just seems like a guy that can play on ST. I think Bergen knew he blew his spot when he muffed that punt. He even looked shaky on one of the last punts too. If you have Flowers, Moore and Guerendo...he might be iffy to even make the practice squad.

Haberman did say the wind was really bad. It kind of comes down to how hard Boyer pulls for him (and how many roster spots he can have for "just ST" players).

Ultimately biggest questions are WRs because of their injuries, they may need to carry 6 until drob is back, and last DL/DE spots.
At least one of Valdez Gipson and Beal will be an odd man out of the DL room...maybe two odd men out
