Best mullet I have seen since 1992

Watch RG #77. As noted on broadcast, a strong zone scheme fit. Has to get consistent with playing lower but has some tools to work with.

Honestly I thought he would go a little higher. Ton of reps in this scheme, played both sides of the IOL. I wouldn't be shocked if he makes this team and gets some starts under his belt sooner than later.

Is that a compliment to him or does it simply show how bad our current lg situation is?

Sorry but he's got a GF already.

Yep. He's got ability and some polish. With Banks gone and Zakelj terrible, the competition is wide open for LG.
Wouldn't surprise me if this guy pulls a Puni & wins the LG spot. Athletic traits there, been in the system at Iowa & Iowa has been a factory when it comes to blocking.

He probably already won, almost zero competition lol

I was thinking the same. Helps to have Trent next to you.

Our center was a weakness and no relief in sight there.

He must be pretty good to land on the Big 10 first team. He's certainly got a chance to at least be a solid backup the first year. Coming from a similar system should help.
Hope they watched A LOT of his tape. Maybe they noticed the guy playing right next to him who will be one of the top centers in next year's draft class.

Oh who I am kidding?
Really like this pick
Really like this pick and not just bc it's an olineman. I think he will be the starting LG by week 8

Iowa is well coached and somewhat similar scheme. Dudes experienced - I wouldn't be mad if we gave him a chance to start.

He has 32" arms compared to Bartch 33". Better at guard than OT.

NFL.com rates him candidate for "bottom of roster/practice squad." Time for Foerster to get to work on him.

It will be Bartch or Buford 100%
