Free Safety? Damn, Oline not to be addressed until 7th round?

Aside from 3 gaping holes and 1 looming black hole at LT were totally set at OL…

D had to get fixed first. Had to. You can score 25 points per game but if you don't have a dline in this league you're not winning a sb. Forget the secondary( ours is fine)This has to happen fast to keep this sb window open. Obvious 2-3 year plan. Rebuild D 2025-26, Rebuild O free agency?/draft 2026-27. Going to have to be patient. Going to draft five O linemen next year👍

Protecting the guy you're about to pay 55 million per season to should be priority 1A.

He was protected just fine with our Oline we started last year

lol he was running for his life. What team were you watching? Our OL literally cost us the SB.

100%. It's only the most important position in sports and is why you pay a very good QB that kind of $. A top priority should be to put a quality OL around him to protect him well & allow this great offensive scheme to flourish.

I get they could do more on the oline but lol at all the outrage comments. We have one of the most expensive lineman in the league and just added possibly the best IOL player in the last draft. But but but we don't have 5 all pros....wahhhhh

Trent looked washed last year. Aside from Puni this OL has no future. Brendel, Bartch, and McKivitz are all crap. We're never going to win a SB with an OL like this.

Do we like this pick?

Loving it!

As long as coaches fix his mis tackle issues (had some in college for going too fast and what not), he'll be a solid backup / starter

If they don't bring in real talent to compete for starting jobs (not just backup), they''ll be grabbing ankles...

Wrong thread but nobody is talking about having five All-Pro linemen or close to that in front of Purdy. If you're content with the OL as it is depending on Brendel at C, ? at LG, and T. Williams coming off injury and lasting a whole season at his age, we'll just leave it at agree to disagree. There's still a lot of offseason left so we'll see what else the team does at OL.

Back to Sigle, don't remember seeing him play this past season as didn't watch much of K-State. Does he have the talent to strongly push for a starting S role as soon as this season? Hoping so. Would be great to hear from any K-State fans in here that has the 411 on him.
Welp, hoping he's the 5th round gem because we'll need it with Mustapha being out for a bit.

Counting on a lot of rookies to boom out of the gate and expecting a SB run is a tall order.

That's actually not true. Last yr Brock was 26th in pressure %, 16th in hits, 17th in total pressures and all of this while having one of the longest TTT in the league.

Pass blocking and what is needed is baked into this scheme. It's why they value run blocking ability so much. This has never been a true drop back scheme that needs everyone to block all day. We're not running a Mike Martz passing offense.

Our backup RG played a part in the loss. Our starting RG who was never regarded as an elite level RG played great before he got hurt. Context matters.

What a silly post. Trent was top 5 in PBWR last yr. Top 5 in every damn PFF metric. If the only way you're not gonna cry about the OL is if they have HOF in their prime guys at every position…well you're gonna run out of tears lol. That's not the reality of this sport.

This is one of my favorite picks, rooting for this center fielder
Considering the Mustapha news, this kid might see the field much sooner than expected.

Other than the missed block by Buford the oline played ok in the SB. Only gave up 1 sack if not mistaken. Always gotta love these revisionists.

Definitely up there. I like two young guys out there, with speed (that Sigle) has and flying around.

In a perfect world ge can start at FS and play nickel (as depth) to Stout. Having three guys thst can play nickel (Stout, Sigle, and Lenoir) and two that can play FS. Good draft.
