Feels like the defender should get credit for a sack if it's called intentional grounding when the QB threw the ball while the defender was grabbing the QB.

Sidenote, how sick is it that the thumbnail is all 3 of our rookie dline.

Saleh is not allowed to leave.

Make him the highest paid coordinator in the league.

Armstead took years to get to where Mykel Williams is in game 3.

Here is the full play. West did good to get the initial pressure and the others finished it off.

It's like when Ford won La Mans
Way way way too early but Reggie White comes to mind when I watch him.

Dude's a dawg! and couldn't be happier with him. All the rookie D line man are slowly blossoming and finding their groove. With Bosa out, we might see a lot more Collins and West.

Im so curious to see their stats and the advanced stats about how they all did.
It's great to watch these rookie DL players create havoc together especially when the old grizzled vet has been injured and is on the sidelines. The youngsters understand what they have to do to win and are giving everything to accomplish that end. The Niners are going to have a great DL for years to come. Super Bowl wins for this team are in the near future

If Nick is out, regardless of the length of time, the young fella has to continue to step up. I think he will.

The way our defense has been built - we will still have a good run defense but lackluster Pass rush. They did better without bosa than I expected but you could see the pass rush fall off.

I don't see it.... but you do you.

He really reminds me of the last guy we had that could reliably do the end/DT thing... Pierce Holt.

Williams does have that old school throw back skill set. I think that separates him from guys like Cowboy or BY (at end) who could and did play both positions, but did not really have the ability to flip inside and out mid game like Holt and Williams.

Will at least be interesting to watch if manufactured blitz pressure is more reliable than Bosa.

Bosa is great and all, but he is hardly reliable....he might show up, he might not....it might be on Bosa...it might be 57 consecutive non-holding calls in a row...you. never know what your gonna get.
It's great the kids are getting some reps early into this season which should help the D even better in the long run once they're all settled in to their roles. This young man has been slowly building up and with Bosa going out, him and Huff were great additions and the D played solid enough.

This is an insane take. We've seen the impact from Bosa and he's about as reliable as you can ask for in an edge player. I hope we get as good of news as possible tomorrow in regards to him.

Mykel has been terrific but none of these offenses we've played so far have been pass heavy offenses. We'll see about the Jags but if Nick has to miss the Rams game in 1.5 weeks Stafford could shred us apart.
