I can't possibly believe this was the best player on the board at #11. Looks like a typical over drafted, reach on position of need. A Shany / Lynch special. I really wish we had Howie Roseman. He runs circles around the league. While we have a clown show.

No I think it's correct. He's a big, long guy from a good program. But not much production there. Very underwhelming on production. He's also not that great of an athlete. I would expect a much better athlete at #11 overall. Kind of an unimpressed. Lots of bust potential. If the most he could ever get is 5 sacks in College I don't expect him to get many in the NFL.

We almost tried to trade up for him - he was our #1 choice.

also, our d line Coach K said Williams was the best edge setter in this class and all of college football. Interesting and awesome

You're uninformed. He's a great athlete, with exceptional burst. His 10-yard split is elite, and for a guy his size. Do some reading.

I think his ability to come inside moved the needle. He is your 3 tech on pass downs. He's 20. The frame is long. He's got a hell of a frame. He can put on 15 pounds of muscle and be a young Armstead.

I think I like the pick, but we probably overdrafted him based on his run setting ability, and when you pick top 15 DEs, I want that elite upside to rush the passer. He's super young and I like the way he moves and uses his hands, so I think there is potential there

Lynch is 1 for 3 on dline 1st round picks. Drafts a guy who comes from a big program with limited production surrounded by exceptional talant and pro level coaching. I have concerns but let's see.

Very high bust potential here. I just don't see it. I think he was over drafted by a lot. A reach on position of need. Better players available on the board.
