Hell yeah. The only thing is that the TE we signed and anyone else we may yet still sign will also count against us in the formula.

This is a tracker for all teams, something I didn't realize was signing players in FA will nullify comp picks we had a 5th for Moore but lost it after signing Luke Farrell

Ya, this was obvious. It was talked about last season that most of these guys would be gone. I thought we had a shot to at least keep Greenlaw tho..

This is what I am saying.
Peaked in the SB.
Diminishing returns now.

Where do you think those starters came from? Without looking it up every FA we lost save Banks was drafted in the 4th round or later.
The only player we lost who was a must have was Greenlaw and maybe if the team wasn't gutted by injuries last year they would've paid him. It sucks because he's an absolute beast and a shot of adrenaline for the whole team when playing but hasn't played a full season since his rookie year.
Put it this way...better to lose players and get comp picks than to lose players and NOT get comp picks.
What's funny to me is some of the biggest critics of the team are claiming they don't want to win.
I was just listening to NFL radio this morning after dropping off my kid at school and Bill Polian was on, talking about how he and Ted Thompson who was running GB at the time would get bashed by the media all the time during early stages of free agency because they couldn't afford big contracts being in small markets. Yet both the Colts and GB would constantly field pretty good teams because they made smart FA signings and drafted well.
I certainly don't feel great about the state of the roster right now, especially after losing Dre but we gotta stop the overreactions. Most of us understood the bulk of our FAs would be walking and we weren't going to get any huge contracts added.

Like I said, some of Kyle's/the teams biggest critics are the ones the most vocal about all the loses and how we'll suck now.
You wanted Shanahan to change his ways - guess what, no Deebo, no Juice means Kyle is changing one way or another. The way things are going he's also going to have to be ok with playing and starting a lot of rookies.
We'll see what happens but this could be a shot in the arm we needed to get our hunger back.

You are correct . My bad.. add banks in . The max is four comp picks so 🤞. I might be an optimist but I think they can find a guard in the draft or Burford can handle it
