However, I honestly think this recent disparity in the scheduling the last two years, goes back to all of the hype 3 years ago - where every team that played us and had a game the following week, lost that game. The media picked up on it and talked a lot about what a physical team we are, and beating people up on both sides of the ball - and quite simply, that is not the image the NFL wants for itself anymore. And the 49ers are being punished for it.
