At some point team needs to think big picture. This team, as currently constructed, is not going to contend for a SB. Will be lucky to even make the playoffs with the brutal schedule that's left. As much as in hate to think like this because I still have hope, it's reality. I want to keep looking forward to a chance at a playoffs spot but Teams like GB, TB, WAS, even CHI have a decent shot at the playoffs and if it comes down to a WC, it'll be one of those teams. We've already lost 3 games within our division. We lost Aiyuk for the year. Deebo may not even play this week against DAL. Aside from an injured Jennings, we have rookie WRs starting. We are on our 3rd kicker who misses extra points. Even wishnowsky is having a bad year. Even with CMC coming back, he's not magically going to turn us into a SB contender. Yeah, even if we win the division by some chance, we don't stand a chance in frigid weather at Lambeu or WAS.

Honestly, with Kupp coming back the rams could go on a run. LAR and AZ still has a chance to take the division. If we lose to DAL this weekend, it's over for sure.

There is way less trade activity in the NFL, always has been. I wouldn't expect much of anything.

No, the Niners should not be sellers at the trade deadline. The NFC West is all the Niners need to win to get into the playoffs and the division is still up for grabs. If CMC comes back healthy, Deebo and Jauan stay healthy, and the rookie WR's step up, that should keep the offense in the hunt in the second half of the season. Niners don't have enough depth on defense to let anyone go.
