Ugh, might have been the biggest disappointment even more so than Winters and Mustapha. They're still ok but the 3 of them looked primed to be solid contributors. Puni especially looked like he could be a pro bowler. We'll see how him and Mustapha go into their 3rd season. I have my doubts on Winters he just might be a solid backup

Agreed. I love how MM and Winters fly around but they just miss so many tackles. Especially Winters. Puni was just bad

I'm bringing in competition for all 3 guys. None of them should be guaranteed a job.

-Re-sign Eric Kendricks to compete at WILL
-Sign a vet like Bryan Cook for SS and draft a true FS
-Sign a vet like Alijah Vera Tucker and draft a rookie guard

Tucker is always hurt

This except Tucker is injury prone so maybe another guard

lol Kendrick's is about to be 34 doubt we resign him. He did play well but they'll keep Bethune or Gifford over him because of special teams. Definitely could use a vet safety but we are stuck with Brown, Mustapha, and Sigle going into next season so idk if they go draft a rookie as well that'd be 5 saftey s

4 safeties, right?

We usually have 4 on the roster, doubt we have 5 on next years 53. Sask was saying get a vet and draft another one. Unless we cut Brown that'd be 5 safeties
Gonna be annoying when they let him walk when he's a FA

Less annoying than paying a guard 20+ million a year.

In theory it is so smart not to pay guards. Most top guards in the league are taken in the 3rd round and look at that you get a 3rd round comp when your Guard gets paid. In theory

SF needs to pay Puni

I said this long ago but Purdy deserves the Brees OL plan

Invest at LG C RG so Purdy can see the field and can step up into throws

Trust Purdy to handle outside pressure so long as we have avg OTs

Trent Williams and his cap space are gone...shift it to multiple interior OL spots

Meh, our starting LG is playing well enough and he was a 7th round pick. I'd rather let Puni walk and just develop another cheap late round pick or UDFA. Maybe Willis, though I think we're grooming him to be the next center.

This reminds me of trading Buckner for Kinlaw
