Mabe the knee didn't bother him unti he started practicing. Working out isn't the same as practicing and running full speed routes.

Well, he must have known the knee wasn't quite right, because he was wearing a sleeve/brace on it in his workout videos.

Much more concerning than this for Ricky Pearsall:
— Jeff Mueller, PT, DPT (@jmthrivept) July 29, 2026
PCL injury leads to joint laxity (unstable joint), leading to shear forces across the joint during impact/high load activity (cutting, running, etc) that cause swelling & irritation.
Not a quick fix & it's been an issue since… https://t.co/75wk4GkLXg
Sounds like he may need surgery.

This team needs some of the young WRs they've drafted to finally step up (looking at you Watkins & Cowing). Hopefully, Stribling continues to impress and can make an impact out of the gate.
Even more happy now they signed Evans to give them that true WR1. Kirk also seems to be a good signing and just needs to be healthy. In re-watching the Niners road playoff win at Philly last season, Robinson's impact was much needed and hopefully he carries that over into this season.
