Good depth signing. We're likely to lose Jordan Mason, so we need someone behind Gurrendo.
Not expensive, still young (26), 6' 2", 217 lbs... not mad at all for keeping him around another year.

At least he didn't cost the team 20 mil just to block

49ers are re-signing him. He is a good power option. He was helpful in a few snaps last year.

He's 26, damn I thought he was like 28. I guess he's a good special teamer at least.

The post you quoted was from last March. He turns 28 in April.
I have to admit, I'm pretty indifferent to this news. Just another RB who will never see the field while Kyle continues to run McCaffery into the ground.

True but that's not Taylor's fault.
Coming off that shoulder injury, didn't play all year... he'll have fresh legs and prolly gonna be our 4th back anyway. Injuries may pile up and then he might see the field. ST dude too, signed for peanuts, we don't have a crowded backfield, what's not to like
Looks like this guys NFL career is over.
I hope he finds success in his new profession what ever it is.

Yup. I also miss the days of finding the gems like Breida, Wilson, and Mostert (although he was already in the league for years). Not only were they productive, but all three also netted draft compensation. After that great run ended, we've done nothing but burn picks and cap space on the position.
Poor guy, that blows
