Or try wrapping your head around the fact that the thread follows the same ebbs and flows as the game. Nobody in the world thinks the Niners looked sharp their first 2 drives. Defense was looking shaky as well, but they got it together, as top teams do.
Did anyone else hear the Eagles coach say 'I'm sorry....' to Shanahan when they embraced on the field after the game ? I couldn't quite make out what else he said but he was definitely apologizing.
