Damn that sux, hopefully it stays dry. It would be great to see the weather and the refs stay out of it so we can see which team is truly the best team.

EDIT: One of you stat-Meisters can confirm…..

The Eagles have never lost a game refereed by Shawn Hochuli?

Bills were penalized 11 times to the Eagles 4 last week.

Hochuli did a nice spin job on those non calls on social media today.

I'm just hoping his crew is not assigned to any Niner games especially this week.

John Hussey will be officiating the 49ers Eagles game.

Really? I couldn't find it anywhere. That is the same crew from the NFCC. We had 11 penalties for 81 yards and the eagles had 4 penalties for 34 yards.

It's incorrect I'm pretty sure. He's assigned to the Browns Rams game. We're getting Alex Kemp.

Doesn't look any better. Although Burford in the PIT game had all the offenses penalties which included 1 hold, 2 false starts and a face mask.

What this tells me is Purdy is a much faster processor than Hurts is. Take away Hurts 1st read and he will either try and take off and run or he will panic and force something, Fumble, or take a sack. And occasionally will throw up a prayer and hope his receiver comes down with the ball.

It is because of this that i hope we have not one but TWO guys shadowing Hurts…also that sucker is slick fast and seems to outrun everyone who has a shot at him. If he gets to dominate the game that way, we are dead meat. Not sure what Wilks has planned but i hope kyle has put plenty of input into it.

i can see Hurts getting rushed, but am really uncomfortable with our DBs making sure he doesn't run circles around us. If he has time he definitely can throw the long ball , and he has decent accuracy long. Our DL has to put pressure on him while still being able to contain him. Man that sure sounds like a lot of work for both Bosa and Chase. Likewise , DTs and esp Arik have to bring pressure but not allow Hurts to run 12 yds up the gut.

No question Hurts will be a handful. What will be interesting is to see how we score against their D. For sure we don't want to get 2 or worse 3 scores down on them. This could be one of those "last team with the ball wins. "
Vegas don't lose money. So I got an idea. Everytime you all encounter a mouthy eagles fan on social media. Tell them that the 49ers are favored in their house and if they so confident put their paycheck on it.

Line hit 3 and bounced back to 2 pretty quick… so that's happening.

Vegas makes money on the juice.
The Eagles allow 6 ypc on the edges.

Ourside zone with CMC and Mitchell.

NO WORRIES HOMES !!

It'll be a low scoring game !!!

SF 15
PHI 02

Bad Moody Rysin will be the MVP of that game !!!
What is the likelihood we have a spy on Hurts? My pick would be Greenlaw but he might draw some penalties.

Are you saying you would rather have the niners Oline than Philly's? If so, I hope your right and they protect Purdy. IMHO I would take Philly's.

Purdy is an Elite processor and much better than Hurts in that area. I would take Purdy over Hurts in Kyle's system any day. Philly's IOL and right tackle IMO are better than ours right now. TW is the best Olineman out there and am so grateful to have him as a Niner.

I love how Purdy's lack of elite arm and body are always pointed out, but all these so called high end QBs that can't process elite are never knocked for it!!

Let's keep it real, who actually processes faster than Purdy for sure that's elite:

Burrow.....Mahomes (maybe? definitely not early Mahomes no f**king way)....Joshua Allen....who else?

Rodgers I'm sure does....

But seriously, who actually processes the game faster and more correctly?

I think Garoppolo for all his warts processed pretty fast, just couldn't handle beyond 2nd or maybe 3rd read.....but I can't say that was a real weakness with him.

So many other QBs in the league are great at throwing it up, having a GREAT ARM........

Man, it's so frustrating.

Everyone thinks they could operate Kyle's offense so well, when Matthew Ryan still couldn't do it as well as purdy (maybe better deep ball plus he had better deep ball WRs in Jones & Roddy White).

Amazing people and the so called media experts can't see that being elite is processing time and the ability to see small windows to throw to. He can see all his reads and throws them open, all we could hope for. Montana could do it, Brady could do it and Mahomes can do it.

Purdy's not even hit his ceiling. Yes he had a couple of bad games but so did all the others mentioned. His ability to learn from his mistakes is also Elite.

Hurts is not a great processor he has a strong arm and is very athletic, that makes him great. I still would rather have Purdy the way he's playing right now. It's why he was drafted so late. Steve Young even said it's the force and hard to see or recognize in selecting QBs. Shanny did not even see it until he was at camp.

SHANNY full of crap.. he got NO idea about QBs.. tho he's done nothing but be impressive up to this point, it looks like we just got LUCKY w/B-Rock Steady Purdy !!
