I watched the jaqs game yesterday and they are extremely physical on both sides of the ball in the trenches. And it's going to be extremely hard to contain Etienne. He's a younger CMC.

So.. team stat rankings..

Jaguars:
-Worst pass defense in the NFL
-4th in rush defense and 3rd in rush YPA.
-Middle of the pack on offense both running and passing

49ers:
-25th pass defense in the NFL
-1st in YPA passing offense
-3rd worst in the NFL in rushing 1st down % allowed
-tied for 19th in rush YPA allowed

This looks like another game that's gonna come down to Purdy not making any big mistakes in crunch time. The Jags have not been scoring a lot of points, but their strength is run D and making teams one-dimensional. If we can run on them, we win. If we can't, it comes down to Purdy playing mistake free, because our defense will likely still give up a ton of points on the road.

That's a personnel. Issue. We simply don't have the players for it to improve.
