How do you know Roby is still good? You are strictly going by the past whereas the coaches are going by what they see in the tryout. You know when the player comes in and shows you what he has on the field.

But hey keep doing you.

ya he was cut from saints and no one has signed him something is up not that he was a great corner or anything before

I don't mind the Anthony Brown pick Dallas took a huge hit in the pass defense stats after he got injured especially at the spot he was playing. Also Dallas played a lot of man where we play more zone
Looking at his stats last year he had a pretty good year

only had 1 really bad game allowing 100+ yards to Julio jones the only Wr he gave more than 100 yards to

he played Cooper Kupp really well only allowing 4 catches for 20 yards ( had 125 total yards). Als played well against Higgins

Right?

I guess he'll be assigned to Pukua next time we play the rams

I doubt he makes it that far with the 49ers, he probably gets cut when Luter is activated, or when Womack is bad, we play Rams I think final game of the season, right?

Right?

I got what I asked for which was bringing in another CB, but with that injury I wish they signed Roby who was at least healthy last season. Roby probably wanted a little more money and he would've been 4th on the depth chart.

let ease up on our new addition, the man has 69 starts
you are doing something right, when you get up to 69

Right?

he was active on the PITT practice squad, so obviously not hurt anymore...

This guy couldn't hold Bradley Roby's jock strap. They love bums in the secondary. Never seen anything like it.

if he is so good, why is he unemployed?

To be fair, while this is a valid question, there are times when a solid player is not needed for whatever reason.

Like last year Niners picked up Gipson who was unemployed. That turned out well.

We are talking about replacing Thomas and Roby is way better than that absolute liability and burn victim

I know bc Ambry has already been benched and is a burn victim. But hey, stay in denial and keep doing you

Thinking his "tryout" is the reason he is not signed is naive. It could be his contract demands (guaranteed money wanted) or another reason. I'm not going by the past bc PRESENTLY Ambry is horrible.
