Interesting that a Broncos guy is saying Purdy looked good and Niner creators are saying he struggled. Also shocked he said it was evenly played when most everyone on the Niners side of things are saying the Broncos dominated all 3 phases.

I am starting to wonder if the Niners content creators are just overly critical of the team or just have way too high of standards.

exactly what I was thinking, so i was a bit (pleasantly) surprised to hear that perspective. I think a lot of SF content creators are being cautious with their optimism after all the injuries last year, and Denver sort of has that feel that the 2019 Niners had, where you can feel the team is headed in the right direction.

Criticizing the SF 49ers gets more clicks and views

The 49ers have a massive fanbase

The trolls that cover the 49ers (i.e., GC) know this and use it to make their living

I thought it was great to get so many different view points yesterday. What was funny though is how some people were so damn adamant that some things didn't happen.

I saw a whole exchange about how Watkins didn't beat Surtain for a TD on a slant...partly because some idiot posted Watkins scoring a TD against another Broncos corner, clearly not Surtain.

But fact is when you have two fields working at the same time and you only have one set of eyes...good luck seeing everything.

Two years ago the raiders kicked our ass apparently in joint practice and they sucked that year and we went to the Super Bowl.

kyle also seems to not GAF about pre season so we always look bad in those games. Leads to a lot of hysteria. Every year same s**t.

Getting worked up over an intersquad game is silly. Worse than getting excited over a pre season game. Both are meaningless as far as results go. Only the coaches can really evaluate the players because they know what they're asking them to do and who they're going up against.

The way pre season games are played now you have to wonder how much longer they will continue with them. They used to play 5 or 6. Then for years it was 4. Now they're down to 3. Most teams barely play the starters anymore which often results in players not being game ready when the season starts. If they aren't going to use those games to get the starters prepared then just do away with them and stop ripping off the fans who pay for those tickets.

Yes and I believe he was pushing the Jimmy G was laughing at us and he's gone back to the well now.

MB is my go to for unbiased reports and I have really grown like TK.
