almost every day of camp I keep hearing good things bout Sebastion Valdez, from coaches to players to beat writers. Can't wait to see him in action Saturday.

Not sure that's something you want to be advertising. Hard to keep up with all the comings and goings lately but given the depth issues at our IDL and Givens being a 6 year vet with us that's surprising. He was literally the only proven player at 3T for us.
Nothing fancy but he's played well in spurts. Not a great injury to have in a group that's already weak. Need Kalia Davis to step up finally and fill in.
Might be the difference between Evan Anderson making the team or not.

DT Sebastian Valdez impressed with his raw power, earning a fitting nickname from RG Dominick Puni and the offensive line.
"I actually haven't gone against him yet, but from what I see—we call him 'The Hulk,'" Puni said. "He looks crazy. He's really built, he's fast, he's twitchy, he's good off the ball. He gives us trouble in one-on-one pass situations because he's really twitchy, and he's got good hands. But once he gets going, he's going to be a problem. I think they got a good one with him."

I've heard zero about Bergin's camp performance.
Any news?

I think I've seen one passing mention of him. Basically he's a special teams player ... need to wait for Boyer to talk.

The Givens injury is concerning and it may be the opening Valdez needs to make the cut.

Really there is VERY little competition at DT. Kalia Davis can't stay healthy, Jordon Elliot is terrible against the run. Givens was the front runner to be the veteran at DT.
It's kind of amazing, but it could be Collins, West, Anderson, Valdez at DT.

I've been waiting for this dude, but it seems he gets hurt a lot since he's been here

As long as those guys stay healthy, that should end up being a real good rotation. Valdez isn't as big but he is really strong and quick

3 rookies and 1 2nd year player ... that is ... not good.
Kalia Davis or the new guy Hector (former Jet) would be in competition for the 5th spot.
I imagine the 49ers are watching the waiver wire.
